17.01.2022 Well here we are.. a new year, a new decade and new goals. Nose to the grind stone - or at least the sand paper. Craftsman George and the team are looking forward to some exciting projects this year. We have Poplar, Red Gum and other hard woods to use, Ideas and plans, motivation and tools... now we need to make the time. Stay Tuned.

14.01.2022 Craftsman George is busy making a work bench (among other things). He really wanted two Australian made bench vices. We found them for him at DAWN, making quality woodworking tools since 1913. They are solid, well made and have a 25 year guarantee. Why would we buy him anything else. 11.01.2022 I have another 'sculpture' in mind. What to carve it out of. Ash, poplar, red gum? Not red gum,that was the last one. So poplar or ash? Not sure the ash is dry enough yet. Think it will have to be poplar.

06.01.2022 A new project.. a new challenge... but it will mostly be a secret until the finish... maybe some clues and progress shots along the way. Rest assured it will be a very special piece for a very special reason.

04.01.2022 A message from Craftsman George's TA who happens to be an Emergency Nurse Please limit your travel.. STAY HOME if you can, avoid big shopping centres.. use local traders. NO BIG GROUPS..stay 1.5m away from ANYONE. Just stay home. No catch up with friends is worth the risk. Easter will come around again next year- live to see it. SLOW THE SPREAD BEFORE YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS DEAD.
