18.01.2022 This shocks me... It’s hard enough trying to promote inclusivity and equality. People may look different but are no different to anyone else... you might have brown hair (or grey hair), you might have facial scars, a drooping face, you might have blotched skin or burnt skin, you might have dark skin or light skin, you might have one arm or a twisted arm, you might have blue eyes, you might look like ...YOU! ... Yet we are all the same. Beautiful souls to be treated with respect and kindness. At All Times. No matter the cover. The inside story is what counts. Another reason to justify why I have banned TikTok.

18.01.2022 The girls... are having a slumber party. Usually they fight like little devils . But tonight... they are besties ... I’m too scared to check on them because I don’t want the moment to end. They are being best friends! 11.01.2022 Tidying up the house, getting ready to sell ... it’s an adventure of discovery and memories. Exhaustion and excitement!! I even took the time to have a bath after a day of cleaning up outside and preparing our hard rubbish pile. Bath, bubbles, candles and Beethoven piano essentials... perfection. Forgotten how awesome that space was as I never took time out to use it. Then I realised the kids did this... not quite the tidy room I anticipated. 10.01.2022 When it’s time to let it go... this is a great way to reflect on career change. Creative Bakes feels like it was a lifetime ago. 1CreativeOT came from my sweet background when I enjoyed created edible art. We even had a few successes along the way. ... Now I’m back to my OT beginnings with a new perspective... hopefully a better one with fresh eyes and a creative flair. Someone told me I’d never go back to OT. 09.01.2022 Whilst we can’t have a dog (yet) we learnt many lessons whilst volunteering today @petshaven - thank you to everyone that was kind to Jennah when she got very emotional about the plight of pets without families ... there are so many beautiful fur souls awaiting adoption. 02.01.2022 Oh yes.... Melbourne is starting to awake from a COVID19 slumber. Hopefully we can continue along this positive pathway - no lie... the kids (and of course we) cried tears of joy to hear the small humans are back at school. They soooooo need social connection in *the real*! As fabulous as technology has been to get us through these times... even the kids are totally OVER ZOOM meetings. School ZOOM, sport ZOOM, friends ZOOM, music lessons ZOOM... its fabulous BUT noth...ing, and I mean NOTHING beats real human connection when you are doing and participating. So school is back. And I am thrilled to be looking at getting back into *real* exercise training again. I could not handle ANY more screen time than I already did for work and for the kids school etc... so I am happy to give the online a rest and go for *the real*. That means I can’t cheat, I can’t hide around the corner [and cry at my pathetic attempts at being healthy]... it means I am going to get back on track and maybe, just maybe, fit into my work pants again. And finally, househunting is back on the table. Our new adventure awaits. Yes its time to give something new a go and hopefully find our new home amongst some nature and greenery . Much to our parent’s disappointment - it won’t be Geelong or Tasmania. Lets see where the rest of 2020 takes us... who knows.
