25.01.2022 While I was away with our 1 year old, my husband was looking after our 2 boys aged 6 and 8. I had bought easily prepared meals for him to prepare for our hungry boys. The first photo is the first time they were served 1/2 a meat pie. I said it was good but asked where the veges were (I'm lucky my kids love veges and fruit). The second photo is 1/2 a meat pie with the vege version!!!
23.01.2022 One of the issues that have arisen in writing to children is eating vegetables. Look at this cute way of presenting food. You could replace some of the fish with ham slices or meat loaf. If food is fun, you're more likely to get them to eat it!

19.01.2022 I nearly had a breakdown when my coffee machine decided to test my ability to survive without coffee this morning. After a good long soak, it's working again this afternoon after I gave it a thorough clean. Now Pirate Pete needs to write to my husband to remind him to clean the milk frother every time!!!!
