11.01.2022 Come make a promise to the Thinking of Youtree up at Ashburton Park. Tie a ribbon to the tree and make a promise to say thank-you to a frontline worker, reach out and contact people in isolation , or help a friend in need. (It is along the lockdown friendly Great Ashburton Mystery Adventure Trail, that you can share with your kids, though you are more that welcome to just come visit the tree on your next exercise walk) It could be a Thankyou card too your local food market workers or medical clinic staff, a phone call to family stuck in isolation, or a heartfelt picture or letter with a smile to elderly person in our community. Bring cheer and colour to Ashburton today in the spirit of the Joey Scout Motto: HOP- Help Other People! (Photo credit: Caiden & Devyn, Lisa Penna)
