21.01.2022 Here's an event that won't be cancelled due to COVID-19!

20.01.2022 Important update from Skip regarding the COVID-19 pandemic: G’day, We can no longer continue face to face Scouting, but we are NOT closing down, but moving to a different way of delivering Scouting during the crisis of Coronavirus. There will be NO Physical youth meetings whilst the current crisis with COVID-19 continues. There will be NO meetings at the hall, for any section from now, until the foreseeable future.... It is vital we continue scouting, it builds resilience, something which will be tested in the coming months. The group aims to provide Scouting via the internet, using the various tools available. Branch HQ have already started to provide virtual material. The UK has already launched www.scouts.org.uk/the-great-indoors/ It is certainly worth a look. The group’s leaders are collecting ideas, websites, activities etc, it will take a little while to get our act together, but we will get there. We have our Facebook page. Thank you in advance for your patience. Of course, any ideas, hints, websites etc would be most welcome. It does not need to be a scouting activity, e.g. it could be from a sailing club. We may use some of the material from Lone Scouts. I will be trying to get my head around Care Monkey a web based system of permission notes, replacing E1s etc, you may get some test messages, they will be marked TEST’, and NOT relate to an actual activity. Please respond to them, so I can get the System sorted. We will need some help mowing lawns, looking after the hall, caring for equipment etc, more on that topic later. Bunnings have suspended sausage sizzles until further notice. We probably won’t have our scheduled sausage sizzle on 3 May 2020, leaving us about $1200 short. It's going to be a fun time. 20.01.2022 Big thanks to Mt Hutton Vet Hospital for taking the Cubs on a guided tour.

19.01.2022 Tonight our Joeys had an awesome fun nerf night. Started off with target practice, followed by fort building, then time for skirmish! Finished off with what proved to be the favourite game - Run the gauntlet! Parents ran the gauntlet unarmed between the forts whilst the Joeys shot them, then roles were reversed.
