22.01.2022 1st Casey cubs had a great time participating in the region City hike today! We caught the train from Berwick station to Richmond station to receive our package with the clues for our Amazing Race against all the cub groups in the bays region district. Casey district got to explore all around Richmond we saw a lot of amazing artwork on sides of buildings. And finished our 5km walk along the yarra river to our final destination which was the boat sheds at Alexandra gardens!

20.01.2022 As of last night Ive had to cancel the QS presentation on Friday night. Josh has just yesterday been diagnosed with Influenza B. I had to make the call as he needs to be in isolation for 7 days. Im so sorry, we will have to postpone until after the holidays. But we will definately keep you posted on a revised date.

16.01.2022 Congrats to our newest 1st Casey Queens Scout Recipients Joshua Nelson & Lachie Stokkel They both had their interviews with Frank Moore (Acting District Commissioner) tonight. And they have both been all approved and all their hard work has paid off. Frank said that our Unit should be very proud of them both as they are a couple of "good ones." He also made mention that hed like to see them involved in the YPR moving forward. ... Now onto planning another ceremony boys. Go go Gabbarra!!!!! Becky Nelson Gabbarra VL

16.01.2022 Im super proud of the challenge our scouts took on to participate in AJ2019. Our incredible 1st Casey Scouts!!! They will arrive home tomorrow with more dirt, dust and goodness knows what else then they left with but wait thats not all. They will have all experienced a different adventure like no other. They will all have amazing stories to share after a well earned shower, some good home cooked food and a good sleep in their own beds

06.01.2022 Over the weekend we had Lauren & Livinia complete there Green Cord Hike at Ballarat on the rail trail with Ruby & Sebastian. Even though it was a bit frostyoverall the weather was fantastic and they did really well

Byo drink bottle but water jugs will be provided. Feel free to bring a friend. The more the merrier!!! Our new Group Leader Mark Symmons is also going to be Invested. Parents feel free to hang around and have a chat with leaders and other parents over a sausage & a cuppa. See you all there
