24.01.2022 DO YOU FIND MUSIC THEORY TOUGH???? Back when I first started studying music, I found theory incredibly difficult. Later, something clicked and it became easier for me to grasp. I’ve since been teaching people of all ages my simplified approach and seeing that light bulb come on almost instantly. So I’ve developed this app for everyone and am stoked to say it’s now live! Beginners can go out, buy a instrument and with a little bit of thinking, can teach themselves how to play ...with the help of 1 Step Ahead. It’s also a handy tool for musicians to have in their pocket for the odd times they have to think to get a certain idea. 19.01.2022 Hi all, just checking in to let you know what's going on! At the moment I'm working on a decent sized update to include sounds. I know a few of you have been asking to hear parts of what you're learning... YOUR WISH IS MY COMMAND ;) Also in the works is a little step into the daunting world of ear training, which to make it less scary I've done in the form of quizzes. There'll be one for Notes, Chords, Scales & Intervals so you can start with the real basics & work your way up. Super excited to share this one with you guys as its shaping up to be a beauty!! Features include an animated piano that can be played (basically), guitar & piano chord progressions so you can hear an example of the 8 popular progressions and best of all, 4 aural quizzes to get your ear up to speed recognising notes, chords, scales & intervals. All of this is added on to the other useful tools of 1 Step Ahead for free, just simply run an update!
