22.01.2022 Hi Joey Scouts Next week Monday 19th, 5.15 at the Hall, bring mosquito repellant. They are enormous and small Joeys may be carried off! If it is raining, NO Joey's meeting, as we have to be outside at this point. We are practicing good COVID techniques.

12.01.2022 Hi, I have been thinking about how to make this situation give a little back . Family history as it says is all about "family". One thing we often realise to la...te, is we should have asked more questions of the older generation. Here is the opportunity to turn our situation into something good and for the future. My I suggest you ring an older relative, check they are OK and don't need anything in these crazy times and ask questions about your family history. You really need to have a think about the questions and put it down on paper, because the catching up can take you to many places. Beware family history can be addictive, and is a great way to send sometime. Family is important, people have stories let the conversation begin. See more

10.01.2022 Hi Joey Scouts , hope all are staying safe. So I have a wonderful gallery of photos and a list of things we have been doing while we are doing our part at home. I would like to set you a challenge, a Lego challenge. Take 25 pieces of Lego, no more, it can be any pieces and then you make me a wonderful creation of your design. Let your imagination lead you anywhere. You may be on a space station, discovering new minerals. Or in the jungle building something you can hide in to watch animals and study them. You decide! Take a photo and send to me by email. Let the building begin. Imagination is a big journey, that can take you so many places. You may be wonder what you can do to help? Washing your hands is one way, we can help, It always amazes me how wonderful you Joeys are. Kookaburra and Possum. Don't forget the photos!

05.01.2022 The Joey Scouts wore off their little legs tonight in an effort to get the message out there that the "Christmas is coming" and the Christmas trees are being sold by Highton Scouts. So if you need a tree and want that really original Christmas come on in and see us . 27th to 29th Nov , 4-6th Dec, 11-13th Dec. Friday's 4pm -8pm, Saturday's 9am - 5pm, Sunday 9am-4pm. So proud of all our Joeys great job.

04.01.2022 Hi Joeys and Mums and Dads, hope everybody is well and surviving home schooling. We certainly live in interesting times. Ethan Alsop has a new baby sister called Sienna Jade. I have a few issues I have been trying to resolve with Highton Scouts. If you have received an email about fees from last term get back to me. Scouts Victoria has put on hold most of the fees for this term. I have wanted to get us on line because I need to catch up and miss everybody. I also need to resolve the issue of memberships for the Joeys, which is what I am waiting on doing. Stay safe. See you soon. Kookaburra
