23.01.2022 Over the last two weeks our scout section have been developing their map and compass skills. Last week we did theory in the hall, then this week the scouts headed out to follow some trails. We put the the ‘out’ in scouting!

19.01.2022 Absolutely amazing morning for our Cub Section today who were hosted by pilots Eric (1st Kempsey Venturer Leader), Brian and Blake at Mid Coast Flying. We got in touch about a meeting for Scouts in Action month and were welcomed to come see the planes and learn about how they fly. Unfortunately the weather was against us; it was too gusty for the lightweight aircraft to reach the skies, however, we spent the morning exploring these aircraft and asking (lots) of questions. Th...anks so much to Eric for organising this visit; and to Brian and Blake for gratefully giving up their morning to show us their planes. 09.01.2022 A welcome return to the outdoors in Term 4 for our Cub Unit. The Cubs were quizzed on their knowledge of road rules and parts of a bicycle before being tested on their braking and manoeuvring skills at Smithtown Park. Tawny then led the Cubs on a ride to explore the streets of Smithtown.
