24.01.2022 Recently our Scouts had a weekend camp at Bendeela practicing their canoe skills in readiness for this weekends overnight canoe trip. They paddled 9.2km and this weekend will be another 26km of paddling there will be some sore arms next week

20.01.2022 We have some very excited Scouts and 1 leader heading off to AJ2019 Jamboree in Tailem Bend SA today for 1 1/2 weeks. Have fun boys and girls we can’t wait to hear all about it. Gecko we don’t envy the 18hr bus trip with over excited scouts heading there and over tired smelly scouts on way home.. your braver than us

17.01.2022 This weekend many of our scouts participated in an over night canoe camp. They put their canoe skills to good use. They didn’t quite make the intended 26 km due to strong winds, they managed approximately 20km but they probably put in more effort sure to be some sore tired kids ( and leaders) out there today.

12.01.2022 Busy weekend for our group We had 2 patrols from scouts attend State rally And we had Our Cubs attend a 2 night camp and finish with a Cub funday for Hume region Lots of tired cubs and scouts off to bed early tonight

10.01.2022 Teaching kids the importance of ANZAC Day ensures that the sacrifices of our Veterans will be remembered and respected for years to come. With lots of time at ...home, it's a great opportunity to get hands on with some crafts centered around ANZAC day, while talking with the kids about the importance of ANZAC day, the sacrifices made for our country and why it's so important we always respect the day. For some inspiration, the crafts in the images below were all made with common household items; egg cartons, milk bottles, paper plates and cupcake liners. If you have made any ANZAC crafts of your own, we would love to see them in the comments below!
