16.01.2022 Today marks the 13th anniversary of the National apology to the Stolen Generation. On 13th of February 2008 the Australian Government formally apologise to the Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders Australians, and in particular to the Stollen Generations. 08.01.2022 Rovers is Scouting for 18-25 year old's. Take a look and tell anyone you think might be interested in starting a crew in Moree :) Rovers is open to all guys and girls aged 18 to 25 years. Anyone can become a Rover there’s no need to have any previous involvement with Scouting, or any outdoor activities experience. Rovers provides great opportunities for fun, adventure, exploration and service. Rovers might find themselves planning a simple weekend camping trip or helping to... organise an event involving thousands of people. They also have the opportunity to earn a variety of qualifications in Business and Leadership through the Scouts Australia Institute of Training. A group of Rovers is known as a Crew. Rover Crews can be comprised of members from your local area, town, city or further afield. Each Rover Crew is unique so you can find a group that shares your interests from bush walking, canoeing, sailing, caving, ski-touring, canyoning, four-wheel driving, rock climbing and more! Joining a Rover Crew is the key to the experience of a lifetime and a great way to ensure you maintain a healthy balance between work/study and play. Most importantly, it will allow you to develop valuable life skills in an atmosphere of fun and adventure. No other leisure time activity offers as much. Take the plunge try Rovers! Young adults must have had their 18th birthday prior to commencing in this section. Members reach the end of the Scout Youth Program, and will leave the Section, no later than their 26th birthday. https://www.nsw.scouts.com.au/about/youth-program/rovers/
