Anita is passionate about facilitating opportunities for early intervention and healing for children experiencing emotional, psychosocial, behavioural and/or developmental difficulties using therapeutic play and creative arts. Her practice is child led, child and culturally sensitive and trauma informed. She works alo...ngside children to explore ways to express themselves. She specialises in working with children from three to 18, using play, daily activities, and creative arts therapeutically to promote social skills negotiate life transitions find strategies to manage anxiety-related behaviours facilitate relationship building skills promote emotional regulation work through challenging emotions and fear of failure strengthen independence and resilience increase healthy self-esteem and self-awareness build effective communication skills develop life skills Anita is also able to provide therapeutic support to parents and families adjusting to a disability diagnosis or feeling overwhelmed by their child’s struggles. Single use disposable surgical masks are now mandatory in health care settings. Cloths ones are not allowed. Children under 12 are exempt.
