21.01.2022 So we will be boarding another ferry from Syros to Pireaus so lm prepared for the pushy people...hopefully they will us alone...and give way to us... No chance of that happening?? Ciao

20.01.2022 Zurich... how beautiful it was...we both fell in love with Zurich...transport was amazing getting around by train...l thought it was funny when we didn't know which way to go...north or south...so we chose north the train stopped up the mountains...it got colder as we we're heading up there but the views were spectacular...beautiful people...beautiful scenery...we recommend Zurich for everyone to visit...the only set back was not many gluten free options for Rae...so take your own...but we managed...we just enjoyed taking the train every day north n south like a couple of kids enjoying a train ride...it was fun...and as much as l don't like walking much...l enjoyed the walk around the beautiful serene lake...l could do it all day...so much to see...so Little time to see it all...Zurich we will be back xxx Lisa

19.01.2022 Syros very nice After we settled in we went for a swim it was so nice...but a bit "coldies" but we enjoyed the fresh sea water...we had a nice walk around...one thing we've had to get used to is the "electronic cigarettes" as well as normal cigarettes smokers who can just about smoke anywhere they want...the ferry over to Syros was full of smokers...I've got nothing against smokers but they should only smoke outside...but since arriving on our holidays starting with t...he UK you can smoke anywhere...which is realy bad if you're not a smoker and have to put up with the smell...tonight we were lucky enough to see a greek dance in the main square here in Syros...the dance was amazing...the expressions on some of the dancers faces was very emotional and the reason why? Google this..." Genocide 100 Xponia" and that will tell you all about it...its very sad anyway we had a nice Greek meal tonight.. Rae tried the chicken souvlaki which she liked and it was gluten free "winning" and l know l said I'm over spaghetti but l wanted to try a Greek spaghetti dish... lm not just saying it because lm Italian...but it was okay...but the Italian spaghetti is a lot better...better flavours! but l ate it...after dinner we walked home and it was so cool and so dark walking along the pebble roads...and the moon was out it was so beautiful...and there's a lot of long walk ways that lead anywhere...and Rae calls out to me..."hey Lisa...did you know that Syros island is known to have vampires that come out on a full moon...and it has been told that many tourist have disappeared...but some have been found in the alley ways with two bite marks on their neck...and blood dripping on the side" at first l believed Rae... because she has a poker face...you don't know if she's joking or not...as some of you that know Rae will know that about her...she sounded so convincing...and the moon was out...and it sounded so real... but l looked at her and said to her..."you're so full of shit Rae" " you almost had me" lol anyway lm out on the balcony writing this blog and the moon has come out from behind the clouds...and Rae's in bed...and lm feeling a little bit uncomfortable and the sky is looking a bit spooky at the moment here... so lm going to say goodnight...and sneak inside quietly and lm making sure the balcony doors are shut...tightly... 17.01.2022 Well we left Athens behind...pollution and all funny thing happened at Athens airport though!..we we're standing in line waiting to check into our flight to Singapore when this lady just randomly picks me to annoy the whole trip to Singapore...So this is what happens.. She asks me if we we're standing in the line for the Singapore flight... so l said yes...the she asks me if she needed a ticket...and l said yes if you want to get on the plane so off she went......Continue reading

17.01.2022 Athens Well we made it to Athens with No Boat rage from me lm over it...we arrived in Athens and we got off the boat and we noticed everyone was running to get a taxi... so we followed the crowds as you do!! only to find most of the people arguing with each other ( in greek) yelling and hands waving around at each other and l was not involved in that argument...So taxi's were picking up people a bit further up from where the crowds we...Continue reading

Ever since we arrived on our holudays...starting from London...whenever Rae and l were hungry we would find somewhere to eat that was quiet...and within 5 to 10 minutes people would just from wherever and eat where we are...it's like we're getting the crowds in...lm telling you the truth from London...right through to here in Greece...we seem to draw the crowds in

I'm still missing our overseas holiday in Italy + Greece and London...Paris and Zurich...lm blessed l got to tick this experience off my bucket list.. All the places we went to were just like a postcard...if l had to choose a highlight of this holiday? l can honestly say every minute was a highlight for me xxx Lisa

15.01.2022 Mykinos Well we can say we've been to Mykinos...lm sorry to say we both didn't think much of it yes it is beautiful...yes it has beautiful blue and white buildings...yes it has beautiful restaurants...but let's go back to the beginning...we got on to to ferry to take us from Syros to Mykinos...around 10ish am...we waiting at the waiting area Rae and l were one of the first to be waiting...as soon as the ferry arrived...all we see is people coming from all directions pus...Continue reading

14.01.2022 It's been 3 months since we got back from our amazing European holidays...we're still missing our time over there...so lm putting up 1 photo each day... just because l can...the first photo is the escalators we had to use not once but a lot of times...we kept on going up and up...then we had to come down...because we got lost...believe me it was a fucking nightmare...

10.01.2022 Had to share this photo of the little shops in Tuscany we came across on our journey in Italy earlier this year it was full of salami + cheeses + bread + cakes All types of Italian appetizers...and the smell was amazing...especially the fresh lemons with which they make the Lemonchello with...but we came across a lot of these little boutiques style shops throughout Italy...they were so amazing Trust me you won't leave the shop without buying something in there...l was in my eliment seeing all these types of foods l grew up with...and it brought back memories of my days growing up with the dinner table full of everything from all types of salami to the amazing taste of cheeses...l loved it and Rae just couldn't believe how many different types of foods there was...absolutely amazing...l realy missing italy xxx Lisa

07.01.2022 "Europe Throwback Photos" Fountains...Fountains and more Fountains l loved every single fountain we came across when we were in Italy this year...the statues were all so amazingly sculptured perfectly...each one in its own unique way and they were so detailed...and it was so amazing how the water was crystal clear and drinkable...which was so refreshing...so when you go to Italy take a water bottle and fill up whenever you need to...but remember don't bath in it or swim in it...you will probably get arrested... xxx Lisa

04.01.2022 OMG...this just happened...l saw Lisa who was in front of me going off waving her hands in the air and yelling in Italian at this Greek lady who was trying to push her way through in front of Lisa...there was Lisa yelling and telling her off in Italian... all l saw was hands waving in the air and a lot of screaming as Lisa got through in front of that lady who was still yelling at Lisa but all l heard was Lisa yelling at her telling her where to go...lol but l did tell her to calm down...which she did...after a hit of coffee...she told me later what she said to the Greek lady...I've never seen Lisa go off in Italian before but it was so funny to see that's my girl

02.01.2022 " Tuscany Memories" I came across this painting while cruising the streets of Tuscany...it was amazing how much we walked around...up steep hills...and long high stairs leading everywhere and if you know me well enough ...l don't like walking especially when my feet are sore...but l blocked the pain out and took everything around me in...the statues...the old buildings...the people...the Gelati off course l can honestly say it was overwhelming for me...but it seemed to surreal...it was like a dream...thats why l tell people to follow your dreams...keep them alive...because Dreams realy do come true...love it

01.01.2022 l had to Remove the Greek dance video l put up the other day!! Apparently l didn't have permission to put it up on my blog...they said the song and dance...and music...didn't belong to me and l had no right to put it up! Well excuse me for sharing with my facebook friends...a sad and tragic thing that happened back in the war days right here in Syros... Seriously!!
