Both will be back this year courtesy of our lovely friends at Oxbow The piggy houses can be located on the children's activity table which also includes colouring in (piggy outlines supplied)

16.01.2022 Yay!!! These fabulous Oxbow products haven't been on Aussie shelves for a while but guess what!! They're back!! The bungalows in particular were extremely popular and many a tear was shed when it was discovered they were no longer available Swing by the Gold Coast Guinea Pig Rescue stand at the Pig Day Out to check out these and all the other fantastic products from our good friends at Oxbow For those of you who aren't aware, Oxbow Australia have been sponsoring the Gold Coast Guinea Pig Rescue shelter since 2009!!! Throughout this time they have continued to donate Essentials Adult and Young Guinea Pig Food to feed all our piggies who are most appreciative as like their humans they know Oxbow make the best piggy pellet on the market!!!

03.01.2022 Yes folks it's almost that time of year again when piggy lovers gather to celebrate everything guinea pig!! Join us in the lead up to the most exciting day of the year as we keep you updated on what we have planned for you at this year's Pig Day Out!

03.01.2022 A lot of imagination went into creating this entry in the Posh Piggy section of our Guinea Pig Judging Competition at last year's Pig Day Out! Remember it's only the Posh Piggy categories where your piggies get to wear costumes! For the rest of the categories they are judged purely on their own merit eg "Cutest Butt" FOLLOWING ARE THE CATEGORIES FOR THE PIG DAY OUT GUINEA PIG JUDGING COMPETITION!!! There are prizes for 1st place, and certificates for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place... in each category The judging will start at 9.45am so we ask you to arrive as early as possible to register your piggies (gates open 8.30am). Judging begins with Category #1 and continues through to the last category so if you're entering any of the first few categories it's important you have your registrations in by 9.15am. Entry is $2 for each category. You can enter as many categories as you like. Prizes and certificates will be presented at the end of each category. The Judges Pocket Trophy is presented at the end of the competition. Costumes are to be loose fitting and placed on the guinea pig just prior to judging and removed immediately afterwards.
