25.01.2022 On behalf of the whole 2020 NSW Tumut State Championships committee we want to thank you all for your support, and a big congratulations to not only those that completed successfully, but those who also participated. This ride was a true test of endurance!! The track was very achievable but we had the thrown in element of the heat, and because of this it needed to be ridden smartly and with care. The track marking team worked hard in making this ride as safe as possible for ...both horse and rider with the predicated heat by changing what they could to have you in the shade as much as possible and placing water points every where possible. A big thankyou to the Tumbarumba Endurance Ride, Matar Stables Bullio Cup, Bullio Razorback and the Bailey family for your very generous offer and supply of water troughs, we were able to supply ample amounts of water through out the course and this played a big part in keeping all horses hydrated and cool with all the strapping and drinking points. We hope you all enjoyed the weekend and have all travelled safely home, a big thank you to those who made the journey from SA, VIC and QLD. If you could please send in your pictures on track, of your winning rugs and products, and share with us some of your stories we would love to be able to post on the page We will all be taking a well rested break and we hope next year will be a better, more consistent year for endurance... see you all in 2021

17.01.2022 Congratulations to our 2020 NSW State Champions Elizabeth Moir riding Baribo from Kurrajong Arabians. Lizzy absolutely blitz the 160km course today in trying conditions, combating the heat and a last leg storm.. both horse and rider looked brilliant out on track... congratulations Lizzy, Jolene and the whole Kurrajong team on a very well deserved win.. 16.01.2022 Congratulations James Sheahan from Bullio Razorback for your 1st HWT placing in the 160km State Champs, James was piloting the beautiful Razorback Targaryen, finishing the ride in 15hours and 1minute. This was Targaryens first 160km distance in which he did with what looked like ease out on track... the next day James and RB Targaryen presented and won HWT Best Condition. Congratulations to the Bullio Razorback Team on a successful weekend. 1st place HWT rug was kindly sponsored by A1 Floats, and the Best Condition rug was sponsored by The Mobile GG Spot. Thank you

15.01.2022 Congratulations Emily Hill on placing 1st JNR in the 85km Event. Emily piloted Belle around the course in a time of 8hrs 47mins Emily made the step up this year from trainers and has successfully completed all 4 endurance rides this year clocking up 325kms. 12.01.2022 On Friday we will be running a 5km ride for the tiny tots... ALFA Equestrian will be sponsoring a kiddies prize pack and a trophy for the little ones.. we also encourage the kiddies to dress up as they would like and have fun with it :) If you would like to enter the FREE 5km ride could you please message us ASAP so we can get an idea on number for prizes :)

12.01.2022 Time for another sneak peak of the 2020 NSW State Champs tracks Side note for those interested in having a run at State this year, you should definitely add the last minute Bondo ride that has been added to the calendar for the weekend of March 7th & 8th in place of the bumbaldry ride that is being rescheduled.. this ride is a no frills ride due to only having 3 weeks to organise, but it will be a great opportunity for many to get a feel of the tracks and an idea of what to expect for the 160km State Champs in June... Some beautiful tracks and scenery with a bit of everything on offer for all.. In the mean time watch below for a short teaser

07.01.2022 Directions: DO NOT COME FROM CANBERRA THROUGH THE BRINDABELLA VALLEY / BRINDABELLA RD GOBARRALONG RD from COOLAC is also not advisable. From Hume Hwy Gundagai - take Gocup Rd to Tumut (B-double/hwy standard Rd!): ... Turn left from Gocup Road onto Snowy Mountains Highway. After 600m turn left onto Wee Jasper Road. After 2.7km turn right onto Bombowlee Creek Road. After 30.1km the base will be on the right. If coming from the South on the Hume Hwy - Follow the signs for Tumut along the Snowy Mountains Highway into Tumut via Adelong, continue on Snowy Mountains Highway through town past the Riverglade Caravan Park and turn left onto Bombowlee Creek Road and follow the above directions. Signs will be posted on the intersections in Tumut - look for the NSWERA logo!

04.01.2022 Congratulations Catherine Bailey from Bullio Razorback for successfully completing your first 160km ride on your first attempt. Catherine piloted the beautiful Twynham El Zephyr around the course in 15hrs 47mins, placing 2nd LWT and presenting the next day looking amazing in the Best Condition. Catherine received the 2nd LWT sponsored rug from Sydney Region Endurance Riding - Zone One - NSW.

01.01.2022 With the Covid-19 pandemic still unfolding and the current government restrictions tightening we regret to inform you of the inevitable postponement of the 2020 NSW State Championships being held in the Bondo Forest in Tumut on the 6th, 7th & 8th June. Alot of time and effort has gone into the planning of State and we are saddened we won't be running in June, however we will come back stronger when this is all over and bring you an amazing Event and State Champships, so pl...ease continue to follow our page as we will be up and running again once this all blows over and restrictions ease A big THANK YOU to our incredible sponsors for your continued support, and to everyone in our team for all your efforts thus far. We have been very fortunate to have a great team behind us and sponsors who have all colaberated and contributed to some great ideas and visions. And Lastly, we wish everyone continued good health and to stay safe in these uncertain times, we hope everyone gets through this ok and we will see you all on the other side.
