20.01.2022 Telstra services are currently down in Yuendumu. We are told Telstra are aware of the issue, but no timeline to resolve as yet. Currently only satellite communications are working. This doesn’t appear to be affecting surrounding communities.

14.01.2022 Yuendumu Youth Program has had a jam packed week of fun and diverse activities keeping the young people of Yuendumu engaged. We have had literacy and numbers games, hair braiding, loads of craft and painting activities, bike mechanics session and of course basketball!!! Thanks also to PAW Media and Communications and inDigiMOB for their collaboration in delivering a digital art session on iPads this week.

08.01.2022 Amazing night of Remote Central Australian Football talent in Yuendumu, Northern Territory Trial game 1 of 4 for the Country Redtails 19 and under team took pla...ce last night in Yuendumu with a total of 44 players aged 15-19 from communities including Yuendumu, Mt Allan, Nyirripi, Ntaria, Ti Tree, Arlparra, and Papunya taking part in the action. The overnight stay in Yuendumu included a coaching session, trial match, BBQ dinner, overnight stay at Yuendumu School, recovery session at swimming pool, breakfast and information session for all players regarding the upcoming games with the added carrot of being selected to play a representative game in March. Nights as amazing as this are always a collaboration of many stakeholders/organisations and great people with specials thanks to Redtails Football Club, NO MORE AU Wanta AC, Warlpiri Youth Development Aboriginal Corporation - WYDAC, Yuendumu magpies Football club Page, Weatern Aranda football club, Mount Allan School, Ntaria School, Central Desert Regional Council, Lachie's Legacy and Central Australian Aboriginal Congress More information to come... #territoryfooty

05.01.2022 Our summer youth football program in the remote central Australia kicks off tonight in Yuendumu Community. We will be here running footy under lights for both f...ellas and girls with all neighbouring communities able to come to play for the next month before heading to Papunya Auskick from 530 followed by a women’s game with Mt Allan and Yuendumu girls, then the under 17 fellas followed by a big pasta dinner and yarn with young leaders (18-30 year olds) Great partnership with Warlpiri Youth Development Aboriginal Corporation - WYDAC @wanta and local schools. #territoryfooty
