23.01.2022 This person appears to have wanted to get in a bit of exercise before spending some time in a police cell ....... Mandurah Detectives have charged a man in relation to two incidents in the Mandurah District on Thursday 26 November 2020 in which a driver failed to stop for Police. About 8:55pm a stolen silver Audi A7 was observed being driven on Old Coast Road, Halls Head. An attempted to stop the vehicle was made, however it will be alleged the driver failed to stop and accel...erated away. The attempt to stop the vehicle was aborted for safety reasons. About 9:50pm the same stolen vehicle was observed being driven north on Lakes Road, Parklands. An attempt to stop the vehicle was made, however it will be alleged the driver failed to stop and accelerated away. The vehicle was monitored by a Police Air Wing crew on board a police helicopter which had been called into the area. The vehicle was tracked through several streets. The vehicle later crashed into a fence on Banksiadale Gate, Lakelands. The driver fled on foot towards the shopping centre, however he was tracked by the Police Air Wing crew and was arrested shortly after by officers from the Regional Operations Group. The passenger was also arrested nearby after he was located hiding by the Police Air Wing crew. The driver, a 27-year-old man from Mandurah, has been charged with: - Steal Motor Vehicle - Aggravated Burglary and Commit - 2 x Stealing - 2 x Fail to Stop - 2 x Reckless Driving (to escape police) - 2 x No Authority to Drive - Breach of Bail He was refused bail and appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court yesterday, Friday 27 November 2020, and is next due to appear in the same court on Friday 18 December 2020.



21.01.2022 Como Police Chase Around 11:10pm last night, 4 November 2020, police sighted a stolen black Toyota Hilux travelling on Thelma Street in Como. It is alleged the driver failed to stop for police and accelerated into Murray Street. It is alleged the man continued driving through various streets in the Como area and ran down a wooden bollard at a Secondary College before driving into park land and hitting several large boulders at speed before driving onto Bruce Street.... The rear-left tyre of the Hilux shredded on Gardner Street in Como and the man is alleged to have continued driving in a reckless manner with only three tyres on the vehicle. It is further alleged on Hazel Street the man drove directly at a marked police vehicle with its emergency lights and sirens activated, narrowly missing it. The man continued to drive at high speed until the vehicle came to a stop against a fence at South Perth Tennis Court. The man didn't want to play ball, opting to flee across the tennis courts instead. He was then apprehended by police a ‘treemedous’ result. A 38-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with: Reckless Driving to Escape Pursuit by Police; Driver of a Vehicle Failed to Comply with a Direction to Stop (Circumstance of aggravation); Drove, Caused or Permitted a Vehicle with a Forged, Replica or False Plate to be Driven on a Road; and Steal Motor Vehicle.

21.01.2022 In case you missed last night's Super Graduation! The graduation was the largest in recent history the previous biggest involved 117 officers and was conducted in last July. Four squads of officers from Red, Gold, Blue and Grey Squads will graduate, including 78 men and 41 women.... The officers are aged from 19 to 51-years-old. Twenty originate from culturally and linguistically diverse communities, three are of Aboriginal heritage and 14 speak a second language. Most of the officers have attained tertiary qualifications and come from diverse industries including administration, teaching, hospitality and legal professions, while 22 have previous service in the armed forces. 19.01.2022 Today (1 December 2020) new laws came into force that require the licensing of any person who is involved in transactions of copper and copper alloy (including brass and bronze). The State Government has moved to regulate copper, similar to other metals like gold and silver, to tackle the growing problem of copper theft in Western Australia. 16.01.2022 A 42-year-old man has been arrested, charged and refused bail after failing to comply with a COVID self-quarantine direction upon arriving in Western Australia. The man was granted approval to enter Western Australia for work purposes via the G2G Pass system. He arrived at Perth Airport on Monday 16 November 2020 on a flight from South Australia, and was issued a direction to self-quarantine for a period of 14 days. The man was initially directed to self-quarantine at a resid...ence in Cannington, however due to unplanned maintenance at that location he relocated, with approval, to suitable accommodation in Northbridge yesterday, Saturday 28 November 2020, and was issued a new direction to self-quarantine at that premises. About 9:45pm last night a member of the public contacted WA Police Force to report a man at a licensed venue on Lake Street, Northbridge, was claiming he was meant to be in self-quarantine for 14 days. Police attended the scene and located the man. Upon establishing his identity, and confirming his self-quarantine status, he was arrested and taken to the Perth Watch House. A 42-year-old man has been charged with ‘Failed to Comply with a Direction’. He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, Sunday 29 November 2020.

14.01.2022 Police hold concerns for the welfare of 65-year-old Thomas ‘Eddie’ POWER who was last seen on 5 November 2020, at Fiona Stanley Hospital after receiving medical treatment. Eddie usually resides in North Lake however, he is known to frequent the Mandurah area. Eddie is described as 170 cm, slim build, green eyes, light brown hair and has several tattoos on both forearms. He is believed to be travelling on foot and it is not known what clothing Eddie is wearing.... 14.01.2022 Perth Police have charged a 19-year-old man following their investigation into an incident in Perth early Saturday, 14 November 2020. Police will allege that at approximately 12:00am the man was involved in an altercation with a group of people near traffic lights at the intersection of Barrack Street and Wellington Street. A short time later the man was involved in an altercation with a 53-year-old man in a loading bay near the intersection of Wellington Street and Barrack ...Street, Perth. During the altercation the victim was struck, causing him to fall to the ground and hit his head. St John Ambulance conveyed the man to Royal Perth Hospital where he was treated for serious head and facial injuries. A 19-year-old man from North Dandalup was charged with: Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm Give False Details to Police Disorderly Behaviour in a Public Place He next appears in the Perth Magistrates Court on 12 January 2020. 13.01.2022 Can you help identify this vehicle? It was involved in a serious incident in Wellard last night, leaving a 19-year-old man seriously injured. Rockingham Detectives are seeking information regarding an incident in Wellard last night, Friday 27 November 2020, during which a man was struck by a vehicle. About 11:40pm the 19-year-old man from Wellard was on Appleby Street when he was struck by a vehicle believed to be a Toyota Camry sedan. At this time it is believed the victim... and the driver may be known to each other. The driver of the vehicle left the scene without providing any assistance to the victim. Members of the public who heard the incident went to assist the man and St John Ambulance personnel attended the scene and took the injured man to Royal Perth Hospital, where he remains. 10.01.2022 UPDATE 10:45am Sunday 22/NOV/2020: The incident in Hardy Road, Bayswater has been resolved. Around 9:30am police entered the house and located a man aged in his 30’s with self-inflicted injuries.... He has been conveyed by St John Ambulance to hospital. There is no imminent risk to the public.

10.01.2022 Mirrabooka Detectives are continuing their investigation into an Aggravated Burglary and Deprivation of Liberty incident in Karrinyup on Sunday 11 October 2020. Detectives have previously charged a 36- year-old-man in relation to this incident. Around 2:45pm, it is alleged a man entered the home and assaulted the sole occupant of the home (87-year-old woman). It will be further alleged a second man also entered the home, and the two men proceeded to steal property items, befo...re leaving the area. Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation. The man is described as: Light skinned, approximately 25 years of age, medium build and short brown hair. Taneesha is described as 155cm tall, slim build, dark skin, long dark hair, with thick eyebrows. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, ripped blue jeans, Van’s sneakers and mirrored sunglasses. 07.01.2022 WA Police are investigating an incident involving an explosion which occurred at about 4:30pm on Sunday 22/Nov/2020 at the toilet block in Belrose Park, Kallaroo. Three male youths were seen running from the area of the blast shortly after the incident. Police are concerned for the welfare of the youths given the nature of the explosion and possibility for immediate burn and/or blast injuries or potential for ongoing inhalation/respiratory type injuries.... 07.01.2022 Central Regional Operations Group officers have charged two men as a result of their ongoing investigation into an out of control gathering in St Kilda Road, Rivervale Saturday 25 July 2020. It will be alleged that the men were organisers of the party and hired a Short Stay Accommodation premises for the purposes of holding the party. A 19-year-old man was charged with Organising an Out Of Control Gathering.... He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court 5 November 2020. An 18-year-old man was charged with Organising an Out Of Control Gathering. He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court 6 November 2020. Acting Inspector Clyde Pearson of State Operations Division said; This incident occurred at a Short Stay Accommodation premises booked online by the organisers. Any members of the public renting their house on a short term basis should be aware of the dangers involved as organisers of these events often use false names or other means to book the accommodation. Due diligence by accommodation owners is encouraged by WA Police.
