25.01.2022 Lovely day for mining today, quantity was there but quality left a lot to be desired. Only a couple of little eyes of colour.

23.01.2022 Turned the lights on this morning and looks like a few snails have crawled in.

22.01.2022 NEW SCALES, these weigh in TROY OUNCES , just right for a nicely weighted parcel of 30 ounces. They also do carats, dwts and grams. They don't do carrots because they are not kitchen scales, only market gardeners need kitchen scales. Opal miners need these to weigh and sell their finds.

21.01.2022 Thought I would take couple of photos every few days of our Opal Book Collection.

18.01.2022 Miners picks for sale, limited number, be quick or miss out

11.01.2022 The new opal coin just added to our underground collection. There are 14 other opal coins including the Andamooka commemorative 1930 penny on display. I am sure the mint struck the 1930 penny on the founding of Andamooka, as our town has now been going for 90 years.

07.01.2022 New fossil first day cover.

05.01.2022 44cts of nice opal.

03.01.2022 A couple of shots before I turned the museum lights off. A lovely Andamooka honey matrix with a crystal opal core. One of our display items.

02.01.2022 Turned the museum lights on and took some shots of these Andamooka lovelies.
