24.01.2022 Did you know that our vineyard is dry land. This is because we believe that this is more natural and more sustainable into the future. So, we're always trying to conserve soil moisture. One of the ways we've been doing that is by mulching, using Triticale straw. We've been doing this for well over 10 years now. It suppresses weeds and keeps the soil moisture in. And makes the worms, and all those other micro-organisms that are very important for soil health, very happy.

17.01.2022 It's International Chef Day. Shout out to our amazing chef, Briony. Briony’s penchant for French cuisine has been garnished from her time spent with mentors that include Michelin star chefs Claude Bosi at Hibiscus and Andre Garret at Galvin at Windows in London; and Paul Cooper at Bishop Sessa, Ross Lusted at The Bridge Room, Grant King at Gastro Park and Brent Savage at The Bentley Restaurant and Bar in Sydney. Briony came to Jones after working as head chef at Chippendale...’s Sneaky Possum Restaurant and Bar. Her approach to food include ‘nose to tail’, wasting nothing and selecting only seasonal and local produce from growers and suppliers she knows personally. Briony describes her style as ‘traditional French technique with a modern twist’, enjoying ‘pushing the boundaries of flavours’ and ‘making everything in my dishes from scratch’. We'd have to agree.

06.01.2022 Last time we posted an image of our Ugni Blanc replacing the the Rutherglen Wine Bottle, it was suggested that we complete the picture with "a Big Barrel or Big Wine Glass half way down the Hill". We thought it was a pretty good suggestion. What do you think? And we might have changed the wine too. Can you pick which one it is?
