20.01.2022 I was so fortunate to have had the chance to travel and learn for the past 15 years. My last trip I was in Dubai and returned on the 18th of March and came home to self imposed quarantine for 2 weeks. Australia was still in toilet paper shortage dilemma and I was so glad to get home when around the world borders were closing and everyone was trying to get home to Aus. While it was a time of a lot of fear for many I was feeling very glad that I was that to get two weeks off ...to rest. Whilst I was away I was learning more amazing techniques working with relationships through meditation healing. Now over 2 months later and the world is starting to come back to more normality, however Due to COVID 19, i am now seeing fewer clients and limiting bookings to 2 per day. There are available appointments available most Thursday Friday and Saturdays most weeks...I have even started doing Online sessions via Zoom or messenger video... So you get the chance to work with me if you are unable to get out and about. Happy to chat via email as I am often out of mobile reach. 20.01.2022 In my role as a Dental Hygienist, many patients find it difficult to floss. If something is difficult to master, we will make excuses and avoid it rather than feel like you are out of your depth... In Kinesiology, we call this the stress avoidance model, and it is best recognised for what it is. Stress, perpetuating further disconnection and reinforced avoidance patterns of thinking... On the other hand the success cycle, is where we are able to have a small win, that then le...nds itself to a more positive feeling of reward, that is then gently expanded upon to allow another favourable result and you start to believe a bit more in your ability to succeed. Success is best reinforced with a fun and play like manner. As neurology that plays together, stays together, creating favourable memories and associations. Life is already serious enough. Self care can be fun, and enjoyable, not another chore in a long list of many. My fellow hygienist co worker, Jeewan and I looked at online for flossing demonstrations and there was no really good fun videos that we could find. So we decided to make our own video... 12.01.2022 Over 26 years ago, Paul and I married in a Hot Air Balloon in New Zealand... Yesterday we relived the experience with our grown up Babies... The weather was perfect, and how inexplicable that we would have the wind fly us above home, the clinic, my town of Ipswich, my RAAF work and my sisters house... Hot Air Ballooning with my family... 08.01.2022 Update.. COVID test returned today Negative Yay! Just a sniffle, but played it safe getting tested and all is good.. Back to business as usual tomorrow Thursday ... This Really happened today....Tuesday.. I woke with a sniffle and a bit of a snort ‘Oh dear me!’ was my annoying retort. The old me would just soldier on But it’s almost illegal these days not to report. So I phoned in sick and agreed to be tested Instead of my usual, legs up, get rested. I shower and dress up at 7am ‘To Head off to Purga,’ as my husband suggested. I arrived quite early after looking online I had phoned to no answer over 23 times. But I think it may have been on call 29 I finally got through to reception, a promising sign. My fear of doctors and my perception of linear minds Finds me Complementary Focused and thus disinclined Hence, I had not been seen by the clinic since 2011 Hence They did not want to accept me as one of their kind. So I’m out on a limb and they offer a branch To have a appointment beforehand with a Doctor perchance? Yes Yes I agreed and, later that day in the car park outside My car crept along in a slow march advance. Dr Pupadu was a delightful happy chap Heavily clothed and armoured in his PPE wrap He quickly surmised my needs were simple, A lab slip, certificate and then Snap! A mishap! My car battery died, my car would not start! In the COVD car park, medical part Doc called over his helper Dean Pushed me off to an area, to get a jumpstart Well lo and behold, the battery was so dead Even the jump leads would not raise its sweet head Then I call the RACQ But Dean did not give up, let’s charge it a bit longer he said. Dr P came to help and Pathology lass who Agreed to Coming over to my car, getting testing insitu I was very looked after in my car with bird poo It was so wonderful to be looked after and so kindly seen to After 10 minutes or more, I turned the ignition Prayers answered and Dean’s efforts achieved fruition My car took me home and cancelled RACQ I had been tested, looked after and achieved my mission. And now I am home, awaiting results on the phone I turn in the news and see I was not alone Over 8000 Queenslanders.got tested today Me, I was one of them. and Humanity and kindness in this I was shown Thank you all who helped me today I am writing a book and in it I did say When you heal that unconscious part that others do see You find dear friends in once strangers in most peculiar ways Jany Skeates
