16.01.2022 The Blue Mountains is glorious and stunning; a true marvel of natural wonders that plays host to a wholesome community that brims with passion and ministration! the only thing this place is missing is a University public or private anything dammit! Literally: we ask our smartest and most talented to move away for their tertiary education which is a tad strange when we have such a fertile pool of academically-minded people who live up here; the kind of people whom would... make for amazing teachers and lecturers and please, don’t even get me started on the socio-political complacency of an institution like TAFE in modern Australia. Ugh No the Mountains deserves better. Anybody else on board petitioning Macquarie Uni to establish a campus up here lol? oh wait no we gotta petition *the council* to petition (i.e. throw money at) a University yeah, that’s usually how it has to go but therein lies the rabbit hole, folks yikes! [NOTA BENE: I actually don’t care about the intrinsic reality of a University as much as the socio-cultural BENEFITS of having said University because they are notably desirable; yes, even despite the social justice brigades those places tend to breed like mice around hen houses]

03.01.2022 I love when customers know to take my word on the wholesome, hearty quality of the Beef Burgundy. It's a meal that should speak for itself however! It's a peasant dish fit for a KING after all: which is why I think people have such affection for this meal. Big props to Alex for his commitment to authentic taste without nasty shortcuts!
