21.01.2022 Hi Y'all. Complete the following sentence. Tongue in cheek is ok. (actually expected) "I couldn't do a rally without my ........"

20.01.2022 Hi Everyone, I'm getting a number of questions in regards to where to spectate and how to go about it. Unfortunately the conditions imposed upon most motor spo...rt events in Australia at this time is restricted. Due to the very firm guidelines that allows us to run events, one of the restrictions is that we cannot offer any form of spectating. While this is disappointing for our dedicated many that like to get out in the bush and watch, the only thing we can offer and are working towards, is the offering of the many media personnel who will try their hardest to present to you the best on social media. We're hopeful that in time restrictions will be lifted but for now, spectating is a NO GO and the penalties that can be imposed on the event organisers for non-compliance is huge as seen at an event in NSW. Cheers Mal See more

17.01.2022 To All competitors and officials going to the Thornton off road today, due to a supercell going through last night everything at this time will be put back one hour. Keep checking this Facebook site during the morning for updates.

16.01.2022 Who wants to launch cars off the start line and into challenging Stages? Or watch cars on tight, twisty roads between long sweeping straights? How about timing them over the Flying Finish, or giving them their times as they pull to a stop! We looking for officials for the second round of the Queensland Rally Championship, the Roo Systems Australia Manumbar Rally on 31 October 2020. Due to COVID we Unfortunately can’t have spectators at the event, so if you want to see so...me action then being an official is your chance to get amongst it. Yes, that is Queensland State Government election day so you will have to make pre-polling arrangements, but what a great way to get away from politics and enjoy a day in the forest! The registration form asks you if you want a camp site (we have to mark these out with the correct distancing for COVID requirements, so numbers are limited). Please also record if you want to purchase meals from the Manumbar Campdraft Grounds people - so they can consider requirements. Register via BSCC website: https://bscc.asn.au/manumbar-officials-registration-form/

16.01.2022 To all of the off road people going to Thornton you can now make your way up to the grounds. Follow directions when you get to the grounds.

09.01.2022 As naming rights Sponsor I would like to say a massive and heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in making our Rally such a huge success! First of all to all... the competitors which made this one of the biggest and best entry fields that we have had in Qld in a very long time - congratulations to all the finishers and obviously the winners - hope you truly enjoyed the rally. To the Brisbane Sporting Car Club and their organizing team and Mal Bartolo on his maiden event as COC - a truly herculean effort in these trying times - well done and thank you! And lastly, but in my mind, most importantly to every official that unselfishly volunteer their own time to allow us to have fun in the forests. Without your contribution an event like this is simply not possible! From the bottom of my heart an extremely sincere THANK YOU!! Marius Swart. See more

02.01.2022 Announcement of Dominic Corkeron as new President of the BSCC. Hi Everyone, It is with honour I have accepted the approval from the executive of the Brisbane Sporting Car Club Ltd to be president with immediate effect following the resignation of Paul Woodward. I want to thank Paul for his stellar work during what have been trying times for everyone and also acknowledge the legacy he and previous presidents and board members have provided. ... I am looking forward to the challenge of the role. The board is working on new and exciting opportunities and venues so that not only will 2021 be a bumper year, but every year after. If you have suggestions (there were some great ones from the survey earlier this year) for what the club may be able to provide, we are here to listen so we can continue to bring you the best in competition, information and, when the rules allow, social events. Best Regards, Dominic Corkeron.
