24.01.2022 Tradies. It’s a dangerous thing working in ceilings. Wiring can be in any condition. This story is such a sad one. https://apple.news/AF_H4EXEQSBi31CFlaLfU4A

24.01.2022 Overhead power lines, they come down at times. They aren’t always the responsibility of the power company. Private lines in rural areas can prove challenging when owners realise its their own business to get the power restored. Good job Steve.

22.01.2022 No hot water. This 60L 3.6kw System was replaced early 2019. Too bad about the loose electrical connections. Now Burned out. Judging by the cable passing unsheathed into the tank, it wasn’t connected by any electricians we know.

19.01.2022 Hand sanitiser. Finally arrived. 10 litres $360.00. Hope its a good brew. Hope it’s genocide for germs.

17.01.2022 Plumber is done here. Time for the magic Electrician to get the cable into this thing. We are pleased to advise that none of the plumbers we work with are capable of this level of service.

15.01.2022 From Italy. If you have a minute. This pandemic is making us realise a few things. Our Italian cousins have a story unfolding. .. We can no longer fail to notice the vulnerable. The homeless are thrown into sharp relief on our deserted streets

14.01.2022 Chewed cables. Lots of chewing done here. That’s because safety switches work. The possums live! Yay. There is an environmentalist type advertisement for safety switches!

14.01.2022 Day 5 of isolation. Still can’t find the other sock! (Stolen from another electricians page who has an awesome sense of humour)

14.01.2022 Concreting... has its down side. Under boring a new driveway to replace the electric cables and conduit damaged during the job. Yes ... they must not have realised that they dug this up! Somehow lights just weren’t working after the driveway replacement! Anyway the security lights are up and working again.

11.01.2022 Doing what it takes. .... to stay dry and warm. Replacing lights above the pool. Good job Connor.

11.01.2022 Looking like everybody’s home these days. We just want to get in here for a moment. ..

11.01.2022 Standing in a queue at a business with marks on the floor! Can’t help thinking about old Wile E Coyote! Never stand on the X.

11.01.2022 Cold days are with us. Can you believe how afraid our apprentice is, of this weather! No, it’s not a COVID thing!

11.01.2022 On the cooler weather theme. I’m of the opinion that Electricans are soft! One of our guys preparing for the day ahead!

08.01.2022 Connor. Happy birthday. John, has yet again, spared no expense to help His apprentice feel special!

08.01.2022 Advertising for an Electrician! Here’s a tip. Try a different approach to this guy...

06.01.2022 Home made masks. (Including for the grand kids.) Never dreamed I would see this day. Mrs Electrical sending these south as essential apparel for those doing it tough at this time.

06.01.2022 DOM 2017 - HWS failed 2020. Replacing a failed element as well as raking calcification out of this Hot Water System tank. Using bore water means that HWS tanks will react to the mineral content and rather swiftly. Maintenance every couple of years - drain the tank, remove some calcified build up and check the condition of the element. Not much to look forward to.. of course we can just ignore it all!... Another benefit of town water. See more

05.01.2022 Switchboard casualty. Put up a fight to the very end. We had to repair the mains cable in this photo. After removal of the snakes head from around the damaged cable. It’s a suburban house in regional Queensland.

03.01.2022 Old light switches have plastic headed serrated screws holding them onto wall plates. Been taking them off with pliers for years. Hows this. A tool for these very things. Made by Clipsal. ... Genuine Bakelite. Not sure they are still available. Was handed one by a friend with the ever seen one of these statement. See more

02.01.2022 Burned out electrical connections. Loose connections won’t last.
