23.01.2022 "My DID diagnosis means that so many things from my life now make sense. I have an explanation for things that were extraordinary. They can be explained, in many cases, because a particular action or behaviour turned out to be a Voice being triggered by something. It's very liberating. But the reality is it's very tough. It's a struggle not just for me, but for my family, close friends and my Voices. " Understanding the experiences of mental health conditions is important i...n ending the stigma around mental ill health. This is a first hand account of living with Dissociative Identity Disorder from the SANE Australia website. #endthestigma

19.01.2022 Come down for a special day of celebrating children on Sunday 25 October. There will be 25 stalls with different organisations from around town hosting FREE fun, interactive games and activities for children and families. The 2020 theme of Children’s Week is based on Article 15 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child: ‘Children have the right to meet together and to join groups and organisations, as long as this does not stop other people from enjoying their rights.' Find out more information about local initiatives that support children at the Child Friendly Alice stall at the North end of the Todd Mall as part of the 25th October Market day.
