22.01.2022 Hunts Fuels Gladstone AmbroseDay 96 players enjoyed a great day at the club yesterday & the weather really turned it on for us. Teams from Adelaide, Peterborough, Port Pirie, Crystal Brook, Pt.Augusta, Yacka, Clare, Jamestown, Tarcowie, Wirrabara/Booleroo, Georgetown, Pt.Lincoln & Gladstone competed with Belly’s 2 teams taking out the 2 top spots.... A HUGE Thankyou to major Sponsor Hunts Fuels who continues to support our club so very generously...Thankyou David Hunt. Other Sponsors for the day included Clare Valley Toyota, Schackys Commercial Hotel, MIDSTATE Hardware, IPL Fert./Harslett’s,Conyngham Cottage Accomodation, Kupschs Bakery, Golden North & Alex Meat Store. We are small club with brilliant volunteers which we appreciate...the cooks, cleaners, soup/salad makers, the mower drivers, the booze bus drivers...they did a wonderful job. (Special mention to Declan & Judi who don’t play golf but donated so much of their time to help us...Also Helen & Simone who drove people home (sober driver) which included both going to Pirie.....it was very much appreciated) Finally to the 96 players that attended....particularly those that (a) organised the teams & (b) drove large distances to be there....THANKYOU SO MUCH.
