23.01.2022 Phillip Island and San Remo will be hosting some great events this weekend resulting the following road closures: On Saturday, 5 January, the carparks along ...Marine Parade in San Remo will be closed to the public from 12.00pm to 10.30pm. On Sunday, January 6, Thompson Avenue (between Chapel Street and The Esplanade) and the Esplanade (between Warley and Bass Avenues) will be closed to traffic, from 7.00am to 3.00pm. With the sounds of waves we enjoyed the most fresh salmon, scotch fillet, freshly baked sourdough and pork ribs. We ended the lunch with white chocolate mousse with passionfruit as well as a dark chocolate pavé. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves"

The bottom part of Thompson Avenue will become a licen...sed festival zone on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, featuring a superscreen and stage. Some highlights of the weekend include: THURSDAY: the 17th annual Barry Sheene Ride will pass through Wonthaggi at around 12.45pm and will stop in at San Remo at around 1.30pm THURSDAY: official opening from 6.30pm at the Cowes main stage. It will feature a Welcome to Country Smoking Ceremony, Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix CEO Andrew Westacott and a Q and A session with past riders including Wayne Gardner, followed by a screening of film 'Wayne' FRIDAY: live entertainment at Cowes Main Stage from 6.00pm SATURDAY: Classic on Cowes vintage motorcycle display from 9.00am at the Jetty Triangle.
