25.01.2022 QLD Health Department has confirmed in writing to Fitness Australia that stage 3 includes: Unsupervised 24/7 access permitted 1 person per 4 square metres for all facilities Booking requirements removed Showers & change rooms open... Removal of ‘areas’ Effective from 12 noon, tomorrow 3 July Please remember the following are still in place; * 1.5m Social Distancing * Must Swipe in at the Front Door * No Towel No Train * Sanitise on the way in and out and often while training * You must wipe down very piece of equipment that you use with the Disinfectant Wipes provided * If you Feel Unwell or Have a Temperature please Stay Home * Regular Staffed Hours will return as of Saturday 4th July * Fitness Passport Access will return on the 10th July. 04.01.2022 To Our Valued Members As the Queensland Government has brought Stage 2 of the COVID-19 Restrictions Easing forward with gyms now allowed to reopen.. MOD Fitness 24/7 will be endeavouring to open our doors at 9am Tuesday 2nd June. This will be dependent on whether our software provider can get everyone’s memberships of hold so your Door Access Tags will work. The Good News is in good faith to help everyone in such difficult times we will not restart direct debits for 2 weeks a...s well as paid upfront members getting an additional 2 weeks added to their membership extensions for the time we have been closed. Any members that are in High Risk or Financially Struggling that wish to continue their hold please contact us and we will help. Rules to be followed: No More Than 20 People in the Gym at Any time. (If in doubt call and check) 4 Square Meter Rule has to be adhered to at all times (that is 2m x 2m) Please Use Hand Sanitiser on Entry and regularly (An Additional 3 New Stations have been provided) Wipe Down Everything Including Machines, Cardio Equipment, Hand Grips on Machines, Dumbbells and Barbells! (Two Additional Stations have been Provided) Always Use a Towel Bring Your Own Water (as the Fountain has to be Turned Off Temporarily) If you are unwell, have a Temperature or have been in contact with anyone with COVID-19 please don’t Attend the Gym We look forward to seeing you all back! 03.01.2022 Yesterday my house was broken into and amongst the items that were stolen was a ring. It looks similar to the one in the picture; however it has no monetary value but a lot of sentimental value. It was made by my Grandfather for my Grandmother while he was away during WWII. As I said it has no monetary value as it was hand made by him out of a Florin Coin (two Bob) equivalent to 20 cents. If you look carefully inside you can still see some of the coins print. After 60 years of Marriage when my grandfather passed away my Grandmother gave it to me to pass on to my daughter as a memory of them both. As you can imagine my 10 year old daughter is devastated. If anyone finds it, sees it, hears anything about it please let us know. I am happy to reward someone for its return.
