18.01.2022 Today we remember, not in the traditional way, but still we remember. We remember our veterans who have served across the seas, we remember their families and all those who have served. We thank you for your service and commitment to our nation. We thank all of those who have served in 25/49 Bn(s) and the tremendous legacy they have left us. We thank those who currently serve and continue that legacy. Our thoughts are particularly with the members of our battalion who are d...eployed on operations, both domestic and overseas. Most of all, today we remember all of those who are no longer with us. Lest We Forget.

17.01.2022 A post from our Padre --- Battle of Milne Bay - Lest we forget --- As we approach the anniversary of the Battle, we pay our respects to all who serve and remember especially those who paid the supreme price. These deeply honoured ones and here I note all, incl. 25th Battalion, served with distinction. They call to us to be our best selves now in service of others and our country. ... As the chaplain (padre) of their successor battalion (the 25th/49th Battalion), I recorded and earnestly prayed this prayer in lieu of the cancelled Service in Toowoomba (due to Co-Vid). Prayer https://onedrive.live.com/ Lest we forget.

16.01.2022 The 25/49th Battalion remembers those who served and fought at the Battle of Milne Bay. We remember the fallen and veterans who have now all passed. We pay tribute to their families, both past and present. We honour the sacrifice that members of our 25th Battalion made at Milne Bay and the other campaigns in which they fought. We owe them a great debt and gratitude and we are humbled by their legacy. I wish to pass on my thanks to the members of the 25 Battalion Association who continue to keep our veterans legacy alive in the community.
