21.01.2022 Earlier this afternoon, the Queensland Premier announced some further easing of restrictions for Stage 5 of the Roadmap. From 4PM, Tuesday 17 November, there are a number of changes in effect. What do these Stage 5 changes mean for Queensland’s Clubs/Regions? What we know is, those following an approved COVID Safe Plan or COVID Safe Checklist will be able to have one patron per 2 square metres (for both indoor and outdoor areas). You must ensure you continue to practice physi...cal distancing and stay 1.5m away from the next patron, whenever possible. COVID Safe Industry Plans and the Industry Framework for COVID Safe Events continue to apply. Swimming Queensland will continue to work with the appropriate authorities and communicate any additional changes if/when they occur. Once the finer details of today’s announcement are investigated, all changes will be reflected in the documents and resources available on the COVID Advice to Clubs page of the website. If you have any questions, please email us. https://qld.swimming.org.au/news-arti/covid-19-advice-clubs
