24.01.2022 The examiners! Ensuring the first virtual exam for CREI fertility specialist is fair and transparent.

23.01.2022 We have had a wonderful start to the new year. Several positive tests and hope for many in the year ahead. This can be such a great job.

23.01.2022 The clinical academics in O and G from University of Adelaide. We set up a pseudo restaurant environment at Norwich House and had a socially distanced dinner of delicious Chinese take-outs having had to completely restructure the Medical school teaching program due to Coronavirus. Everyone’s working hard to make sure our future doctors get the teaching and training they need while we keep our patients and the community safe.

21.01.2022 The annual adolescent gynaecologists dinner. A great group of people who support young people with gynecological conditions in Adelaide. Late for first sitting and had to take dessert away with us but at least we could go out safely in these strange times.

21.01.2022 Learning lots and sharing new ideas with colleagues at the fire fertility conference in Sydney

21.01.2022 Dr Susan Evans gave a fantastic final PhD presentation about the lived experience of pelvic pain in young women. Congratulations for the hard work and great findings that will help women with pelvic pain.

20.01.2022 Great company and views at the RRI executive dinner. So lovely to be able to meet and celebrate in small groups again. We really missed it!

20.01.2022 Welcome to Lydia Feng, who joins our amazing team of nursing professionals. We are so lucky to have people who care so much, but can also expertly guide people in their fertility journey

20.01.2022 I am very proud to be working with these amazing skilled fertility health professionals. They have been so busy and successful helping others create their families, and deserve a little break to look after themselves and their families before we start our ivf cycles again. Merry Christmas and thanks for an amazing year.

20.01.2022 Consulting 2020! We all stay safe but I can listen actively and understand better seeing body language. This helps me to individualise the best way to help others have a baby. How we have adapted to this new world

18.01.2022 A Christmas function with the PARC clinical trials unit. We have been working with several pharmaceutical companies in our Covid-free bubble investigating new medications to ameliorate endometriosis and menopause symptoms. This group ensure the smooth running and compliance of the trials while ensuring the optimal care of the participants.

16.01.2022 Only a small group (due to Covid-19) celebrating Dee Mc Cormack’s Ph D being conferred from University of Adelaide. This group of amazing women have supported and provided such expert collaborative care for so many people in Adelaide - from conception to delivery. So lucky to know them.

16.01.2022 Examining a very good PhD in Leuven on non-invasive diagnostic markers in endometriosis.

15.01.2022 Speaking at ISAR in Hyderabad

14.01.2022 In India at ISAR 2020 standing with India’s first IVF baby

14.01.2022 Virtually attending the ESHRE workshop on the endometrium. Managed to watch the AFL final during the ‘lunch break’in Europe. Crazy ‘net’-lag with overseas conferences but knowledge has never been more accessible.

12.01.2022 Teaching medical students today

12.01.2022 We welcome Lydia Feng to our great team of nurses. We are so lucky to work with nursing professionals who provide amazing support for many who choose to have fertility treatment

12.01.2022 The Embrace Fertility Doctors

11.01.2022 Today we had a fantastic Q and A discussion about the Thin Endometrium. Lots of ideas on how to diagnose and treat this controversial subject. Our speakers were from The Phillipines, China, India, Australia, and Hong Kong and the wide ranging discussion brought all this Asia-Pacific expertise together.

07.01.2022 We have had a lovely start to the new year - lots of positive pregnancy scans and flowers too

07.01.2022 Five CREI exam committee members and our co-ordinatior have dedicated 3 hours in zoom conferences for 5 weekends to set a comprehensive, fair and challenging for fertility super specialists in Australia and New Zealand. It was so lovely to receive these flowers from RANZCOG show our efforts were appreciated.

06.01.2022 After lots of hard work by the endometriosis community across the country - funding came through for a national digital platform to improve communication and engagement about Endometriosis. This amazing team at the Robinson Institute worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make it happen.

04.01.2022 Faizz in his first PhD presentation. He is determining how the biological effects of oil based contrast media to flush the Fallopian tubes improves fertility.

03.01.2022 Working at PARC at the RAH today to develop new medications for endometriosis and HRT. This amazing research team manages lots of international pharma trials and currently managing a trial for a new COVID-19 vaccine developed at Flinders. We hope our medications (and the COVID 19 vaccine) proves safe and effective to give people more options.

03.01.2022 Thank you to Endometriosis Australia for supporting our research. You provide a bright light for endometriosis researchers in a field where it’s hard to find funding! Luckily with great advocacy from groups like Endometriosis Australia the community is starting to realise the need for more investigation of this difficult disease.

02.01.2022 In Hyderabad with India’s first IVF baby

01.01.2022 Merry Christmas to Joyce at WCH. Joyce keeps my work at Women’s and Children’s sailing smoothly and with Ruth from Uni of Adelaide and Marie ( PA and central co-ordinator) helps my schedule stay sane.
