25.01.2022 Sometimes, we just need to stop and count our blessings. https://mythicaustralia.com/

20.01.2022 This is something we all need to remember at some time in our lives!

19.01.2022 Read and pay attention all you hopefuls! My recommendation would be to make sure you are really fit BEFORE you apply for entry, or else you will end up with injuries, could be back-classed or even fail your all important BFA

18.01.2022 It was a pleasure to host The Honourable Paul Scully MP, member for Wollongong at our formal Dining-in night. It is a great chance for our cadets to meet with our community leaders.

17.01.2022 26 Army Cadet Unit Wollongong will be accepting new enrolments to join the unit to commence THU 15 OCT, ie. first Thursday of Term 4. Applicants need to turn 13 in the year they enrol and be less than 17 years old. Males and females are encouraged to come along and see what we do, and what they could achieve by becoming an Australian Army Cadet. If you (or your child) is interested, please click on the SIGN UP button and lodge an Expression of Interest. If you have any questions, please feel free to send us a message and we will make contact. I look forward to seeing a new group of happy, smiling recruits next Thursday to join our active and inclusive unit of skilled and enthusiatic cadets. OC

16.01.2022 Make sure to take your time of silence at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th Month - Lest We Forget.

15.01.2022 Lest we forget.

13.01.2022 This week, we hope you have a great Australia Day and manage to dodge the Drop Bears for another year. :) https://mythicaustralia.com/

09.01.2022 I have uploaded the Joining Instructions and Activity Consent forms for both the Formal Parade and the Formal Dinner being held on 12 DEC to both the 26 ACU Cadets and Parents page and to the Google Drive in the Forms and Notes folder

06.01.2022 A thought for those of you finding the going a bit tough at the moment

04.01.2022 A beautiful display of marching! If these musicians can march perfectly in time, while playing pipes and drums, there is no reason why our cadets cannot manage to march in time while only swinging their arms! Challenge for the cadets of 26 ACU - get to this standard by December for the formal parade. Unfortunately, there will not be a March in Wollongong for ANZAC Day due to COVID restrictions, so you don't need to reach this standard by April!

04.01.2022 Further inspirations saying like this can be found in our new book: ‘A WONDERFUL DAY’. A positive book for both kids and adults. :) https://mythicaustralia.com/a-wonderful-day/

04.01.2022 Change the world - smile at someone today!

03.01.2022 Nicholas Wells argues that the Mess is more than just a place to take a meal. He makes the case that they foster Espirit de Corps which can improve operational effectiveness. A good read to reinvigorate support for your local Mess. #IntellectualEdge
