25.01.2022 Such a pleasure to join Cambridge Coastcare to help lay lateral fencing this morning. This new fencing will support their restoration efforts by trapping sand against the dunes during the summer south-westerly winds. Visit Cambridge Coastcare to learn more about their restoration efforts and how you can get involved.
21.01.2022 Telethon Speech & Hearing Centre (TSH) do outstanding work to improve the health and well-being of WA children by providing services to children who have a hearing loss or speech and language delay. Today I visited to learn about how they have utilised federal funding to purchase ICT equipment that enabled online learning and service delivery to their students during the COVID-19 pandemic when children were not able to attend classes in person. https://www.tsh.org.au/
21.01.2022 Great sunny day to be out and about in Curtin this stunning view was captured while visiting the Town of Mosman Park today.
19.01.2022 Congratulations Zak Kirkup MP and Libby Mettam on your new leadership positions!
19.01.2022 An excellent afternoon catching up with WA Liberal Members, Senators and candidates over High Tea to celebrate the contribution of women in the Liberal Party.
18.01.2022 The work Chironix are doing to develop a robotic command and control system is akin to creating the modern-day Simpson’s donkey. Chironix have secured a $160,000 contract with the Department of Defence which will see their technology rolled out across the armed forces and position Australia as an internationally competitive force in the defence sector.

14.01.2022 St Dominic’s school in Innaloo will be able to undertake much needed refurbishments and upgrades thanks to a $387,300 grant from the Morrison Government. This funding, which is provided through the Capital Grants Programs, will assist St Dominic’s in a major project which will remove asbestos, centrally locate amenities for Year 1 and 2 students, replace windows and doors and resurface their basketball court (saving students from having to take future trips to the school nurse with grazed knees.)
11.01.2022 Congratulations Senator Ben Small, Liberal Senator for Western Australia
09.01.2022 The SAS members and their families are a vital part of our Curtin community. Their kids go to our schools, their partners work in our local businesses, they volunteer in our sporting and not for profit groups, they step up whenever we need them. They are not a monolithic, indistinguishable group to which we can or should give some general characterisation or label. They are individual men and women who serve and sacrifice for us.... They are our neighbours, they are our friends. Just as they are there for us when we need them, so should we be there for them and their families when they need us. Because they are us.
08.01.2022 I wish to congratulate the six students from Woodlands Primary School, WA, Cottesloe Primary School, Scotch College Perth, St Thomas's Primary School and St Dominic's School who have had their artwork selected to be featured on my Christmas cards this year. From Santa on a surfboard (with some newly acquired abs!), to Christmas family traditions - the artwork will be on display in my office throughout December. So please drop in to see the artistic flair, creativity and humour of the school students who participated for yourself!
04.01.2022 From grassroots to Government, we all have a role to play in protecting our environment for future generations. Cambridge Coastcare is one of the many volunteer organisations in Curtin who actively take care of our local environment. It was a pleasure to highlight their organisation and the important work they do in Parliament today.
