20.01.2022 Hi Everyone Here is some information from Hunter New England Health. _____________________________________... The Hunter New England Health Go4Fun program has successfully helped families to become happier and healthier since 2011. In 2019 we have been lucky enough to secure the Toronto Multipurpose Centre for a term 1 program. The program is FREE to children aged 7-13 who are above a healthy weight and a parent or carer must also attend with them. We still have vacancies for this program. 18.01.2022 Volunteer’s are still needed to help out. If you have a spare couple of hours please let as know it would be much appreciated. Newcastle Cross Country is being held at Awaba Public School, Mulbring St, Awaba this Saturday 18 May. This run (graded 3, 6 or 9.8km) commences just outside Awaba Public School and follows a bush fire trail through the bush. The run has a gravel surface with a number of inclines. The school has kindly given us access to their grounds and toilets and... their P&C will be operating a stall at reasonable prices selling BBQ sausage sandwiches, drinks, tea/coffee, cake and a 100s club raffle. 16.01.2022 Cadbury Chocolate Fundraiser boxes will be available for pick up this Thursday & Friday at school between 2.50pm to 3.20pm Come grab one or two boxes to sell and help support our fundraiser. 05.01.2022 Awaba Public School will be participating in ‘Share Our Space’ for these school holidays. The school will be open from 22nd December until 25 January 2019 between the hours of 8.00am to 6.00pm Anyone is welcome to use our playground, ovals or sports field. There will be a Security Guard who will be onsite to monitor Safety & Security.... Additional information is on the photos. See more
