24.01.2022 Figured I should attempt to actually sketch and design a knife for a change instead of just designing on the fly, which, for any of you who know just how bad my drawing skills are (my stick figures look like Picasso's brain damaged cousin drew them), is a pretty big deal. I call this the "Special K" It is a pretty extreme K-tip blade with a hidden tang. 07.01.2022 Seeing as how we don't really do Valentine's Day here at 2 by forge headquarters, I gave these to the wife today. Tried my hand at a little bit of blacksmithing and made @rennieappleskull a couple of hair pins. Was happy with the first one after making it, but the thought I could do a little better so had another attempt and tried a few different techniques and was much happier with the second one. 01.01.2022 Ladies and Gentlemen may I present "Lightning Crashes" This all came about through the client wanting something simple but different. I had some amazing white box timber that had come from a tree that had been struck by lightning. So I used that as my subtle inspiration for this build. The handle has a slight taper so I widens at the back to represent a tree, and the blade design has slight nuances on the spine to represent the random beauty of a lightning strike.
