18.01.2022 Our next door neighbours all came to watch us move into our new home and barn work space. When moving house the best way to try and get your home as liveable as quickly is put all the moving boxes in the garage or one room. That way you can position your furniture to get it looking exactly right and still move around. Then one by one, at your own pace you can bring in a box to unpack. 11.01.2022 This is one of my favourite homes that I walk past most days. It is such a thrill for me that the new owners has asked me to decorate and furnish it for them. So the challenges during Covid have been not being able to get stock. Suppliers and local businesses can’t get stock from overseas or the wait is 6 months. So time to get resourceful and pro active. Took out an ad on local Facebook pages seeing if anyone is moving and needs to sell items. Bought from gumtree and eBay... as well as local businesses floor stock. You can do this too. It doesn’t matter where it comes from it’s about how it looks in your home. 08.01.2022 Busy day styling this grand country estate circa1880 in the prestigious town of Burradoo in the southern highlands. We used the gentleman’s furnishings and rearranged it and bought in a few key pieces to present it at its best for market and help establish an emotional connection with future buyers.
