11.01.2022 The venturers are wanting your help to support our community. We would love it if our joey mob, cub pack, scouts, parents, families, friends and our leaders wil...l help us in donations of as much tins of food as possible for our local community provider (care van). Care van provides hot meals to the local community as well as bags of food, drinks, clothing, toys and recently have started having a barber and hair dresser volunteer their services to help our lalor Park community. Our venturers have volunteered twice for this wonderful service and have made some great connections with local community. Our venturers are organising a massive amount of tins of food as they never have enough tins for all that come to the service but if you are unable to donate tins then any pantry items are always a must for them. Donations will be collected at our hall on any section night. (Joeys and venturers- Tuesday nights, Cubs- Wednesday night and scouts- Thursday nights)

08.01.2022 The Dragon Skin Executive Team has officially cancelled Dragon Skin 2020. This decision has been made following the World Health Organisation (WHO) announcement... that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been defined as a pandemic, and the subsequent recommendation by the Prime Minister to reconsider non essential gatherings of more than 500 people from 16 March. This has been a disappointing decision for the team to make, but it is important that we follow the guidelines from the government, which are based on expert health advice and are designed to reduce community transmission of COVID-19 in Australia. Our priority is the health and safety of our members at this time. We will be informing all registered participants via email this weekend, which will include the details of how refunds will be processed. Thank you to all of the staff who gave us the o...pportunity to meet our wonderful community and talk with all of you while helping as best as we could. We really appreciate everything that you showed us tonight. Thank you also to our venturers who helped set up,clean, met new people, talked to others and showed a great community spirit to others.
