22.01.2022 The "How to Cook a Pizza with Only Foil and and a Cardboard Box" activity needs a bit more work! But, a good opportunity to demonstrate why you should always have a bucket of water near a fire - and the Cubs got a tour of a Fire and Rescue NSW fire engine!

17.01.2022 Congratulations to our Cub Patrol Leaders on completing a Leadership Camp on the weekend. The weekend’s focus was a mix of soft skills & hard skills: the soft skills included communication, self-assertion, decision making and trust to name a few. Hard skills focused on compass navigation and bush survival. We were very fortunate to be invited by Gordon from Bushcraft Survival Australia (who trains Australia’s defence forces on outdoor survival skills) to learn the art of fire lighting. https://www.gordonscouts.com.au/cub-leadership-camp-oct-20/

06.01.2022 292 orders, 30+ tonnes, and over $40,000 of fertiliser and mulch delivered in under five hours! Fantastic effort from families from 2nd Gordon, 1st Gordon, and 2nd/3rd Lindfield Scout Groups, delivering goods to East Pymble, Gordon, Killara and Lindfield and raising funds to continue our service to our local communities.
