01.01.2022 Scouts Victoria is pleased to announce another part of our education strategy that recognises the value of the Venturer program by a number of Tertiary Institut...ions providing pathways to University via the Scout program for those Venturers who achieve the Queen's Scout Award or who demonstrate their commitment to living out the Law and Promise by way of their actions. With endorsement from Scouts Victoria and your school the Early Achievers Program at ACU, Portfolio Partnership Program at Victoria University and the Aspire Program at La Trobe can mean your Scouting involvement will provide a significant reduction in the ATAR required for so many courses. Up to 20 ATAR points for your Queen's Scout Award - valuing the significant benefit that the Scouting program provides to each and every Scout. We will continue to work so that your achievements are recognised outside of Scouting - its long over due. Why wouldn't every VCE student want to join Venturers and get their Queen's Scout Award now? So all our Groups need to get ready to sign up Venturers as well as to sign up their parents as leaders. Scouting is a community and all parents need to contribute - the best way to join is as a family and to participate in the Learning in Doing (Fun) we have kept a secret for too long! See more
