02.01.2022 Fantastic to celebrate the graduation of our Base Services / 2nd Shot trainees with lunch at Fitzy's Toowoomba yesterday. It was great to be able to go and support this local business who at the start of this traineeship gave us a call to pick up all their food to use in the Basement Soup Kitchen as they had to close due to COVID - 19. To be truthful in the early days of the traineeship with COVID - 19 looming we were not sure if we would be able to see this traineeship through but amongst fear and anxiety, these trainees did it - they showed up day after day, they persevered, they served others, they showed great character, they got the job done, they completed the course and while doing this many of them got jobs at other places - we cannot say enough how proud we are of you all, we know the best is yet to come!
