10.01.2022 In celebration of National Reconciliation Week, which takes place from May 27 to June 3, Wurundjeri artist Mandy Nicholson and her daughter Ky-ya were welcomed to the MCG to create a unique artwork on the turf’s centre circle. Responding to National Reconciliation Week’s 2020 theme ‘In this Together’, the striking design explores the different layers of Country and the coming together of cultures. 09.01.2022 Today is #SorryDay. Our thoughts are with survivors, families, communities impacted by past & present policies that take Aboriginal kids away from their culture & kinship. "This story's right. This story's true." #NRW2020 #InThisTogether2020

01.01.2022 What a tough year 2020 has been for so many people and we’re only half way through. Marrma’ Rom held its major fundraiser on the weekend that the Covid-19 pande...mic hit & sadly we were hugely impacted. We are passionate about the work we do & will do all we can to continue offering opportunities and programs to young Indigenous students from remote Arnhem Land. A large number of charities won’t survive this pandemic. We know so many people are doing it tough right now and we totally understand if this year you are not in a situation to donate. Our hope for you is to look after yourselves and come out the other side as best you can. Take care and thanks for all the love & kindness you’ve shown towards us to help us through this year...it means the world For those that are in a different situation and are looking to donate to a charity, then this year more than ever it will go far and make a huge difference and we’d love your support. 2 days to go before the EOFY. Click the link below and support MRF. You will be sent a tax deductible receipt and please know you will be helping this charity survive as well as having a positive impact on young students striving to achieve their educational dream. Take care and stay safe everyone http://www.mrf2worldsgeelong.org.au/tax-deductable-donation/
