I can’t stand coriander... My business is named after my Mum’s birthday, she passed away before I got started and it’s a tribute to her. I can rap every word from Eminem - Without me I can’t wait to have kids. The Gold Coast feels like a beautiful place for all things family and babies My therapist has been huge for my growth and has helped me make the big, scary decisions the last few years. I feel so grateful to have access to this type of support I can do a backwards somersault on the trampoline I am addicted to true crime. Podcasts, TV series.. all of it! 21.01.2022 Surround yourself with people who see your value and remind you of it I’m really missing all of the joys that come from spending time with friends. Walks, chats, cooking for one another, meeting for brekkie, deep conversations over a glass of wine, weekends away, road trips.. I could go on and on. All this distance and social isolation has made me appreciate what they bring to my life even more than I ever realised

21.01.2022 I did some headshots for a very special client the other day.. my Dad! He’s speaking at a seminar at the end of the month and needed an updated photo for the program. I was stoked to be able to take these for him. These photos are more than just headshots to me, they’re images of the man who poured so much of himself into loving and raising my sister and I. I always get told I look so much like my Dad, do you see it??

15.01.2022 So another round of lockdown is upon us here in Melbourne. 6 weeks this time... This is devastating news for so many and I am feeling for all the small businesses who are under immense pressure or who have already had to close their doors. I’m feeling very lucky to have a part-time job right now (aside from this little photography biz) and I’ll be contacting my beautiful families to reschedule your sessions for after the lockdown period Friends, please look after each other. Ask your loved ones and neighbours if they are ok, be kind to yourself daily and try to get outside for some fresh air and exercise - it is so good for your mind, and just focus on what you can do right now. 13.01.2022 I’ve been hearing from a lot of people lately about how they’ve been feeling these past few months Fatigue, low mood, lack of motivation, anxiety, trouble sleeping and I’ve had multiple people say they’re experiencing dizziness that seemed to come out of nowhere? 2020 has been a pretty intense year so far and we’re only half way through. All of us have experienced the difficulties of this year differently and have been impacted differently too. So I want to know this.. what are your tips for taking care of your mental health? What has the been the one thing (or a handful of things) that has really helped you survive these past few months? Maybe we can help each other get back to feeling the joy and energy that we miss so much!

11.01.2022 Wow, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted. Or had a photo session. I’m sure so many of you will feel me when I say I miss this part of my life so much. This was my last session before stage 4 lockdown was enforced here in Melbourne, with my beautiful friends Ash and Jake and there two amazing girls. I’ve known these two since they first met over 10 years ago, so to able to capture the magic and the beautiful family they’ve created together all these years later, is an honour and one of the best parts of this little gig of mine

This mumma is a warrior and it’s hard to put into words how lucky I feel to have been there through both of her pregnancy journeys. Her second birth was completely different to her first which was an absolute marathon, and let’s just say this time around she got that little man out quick. ... One of the things that fascinates me when hearing birth stories from my friends and clients, is how unique every single one of them is. 02.01.2022 Let’s talk about toddlers! Parents often tell me at the end of their session that they were worried their toddler would be bored, running around or pretty much just doing their own thing and would be completely reluctant to join in for their photo session. This is a really common concern for parents before having family photos taken.. and I get it. ... When I arrive at your home I make sure to spend some time bonding with your littles. I love asking them to show me around your home and if I can meet some of their favourite toys. Another one of my favourite things to capture during our in-home session is reading stories. This gets your toddler involved in the session in such a natural and special way, where they can just be themselves, snuggle up to you and enjoy it. They love flipping the pages, pointing to pictures and we usually get a few smiles too All in all, I just let the toddler lead the way. I don’t believe in forcing them to do anything they don’t want to do, that’s not how I roll. But I definitely have a few tricks up my sleeve to get those gorgeous, snuggly photos that are full of connection and love See more

01.01.2022 An actual portrait of how I’ve spent my week It was my birthday on Monday and I don’t know about you.. but this day usually revolves around food. We went to a local cafe for lunch with friends and sat outside in their beautiful garden, followed by a food coma and some down time before more friends came over for dinner. My heart and tummy were full to the brim.
