23.01.2022 One of our favourite chocolates is our Mint Fondant! Did you know we make our fondant in house? Simply start with cooked sugar, then work on a marble slab until it begins to turn white- this is both from trapped air bubbles and the sugar crystallising in a particular way. This is called graining, and you want tiny sugar crystals, so the fondant is beautiful and smooth. We then let it ripen overnight (it will continue to crystallise the whole time), and then its ready to use!

13.01.2022 [New 7 day lead time on orders!] We love making sure that you come into store, or create an order, for exactly what you want! This has been a crazy year, and as we head into Christmas, it’s only going to get crazier! Due to a number of reasons- supply chain being slower than previous, increased workload (we love all our customers, old and new!), staffing availability, actual hours in the day, chasing after a toddler, not having a heart attack from the stress of a small busi...ness- we are implementing a 7 day lead time on our orders! A few answers to questions you may have! Our Hubert St store is open Monday- Friday, 10-4, and Saturday 10-2, and from December 1 will be open 10-5 Monday-Friday, and Saturday 10-2, until December 23. You are more than welcome to visit us in store and choose from our selection, that we are working overtime to keep fully stocked. We appreciate your understanding if your product is unavailable, or not available in the quantities you would like, when you visit. We highly recommend you place an order if you are interested in a specific product OR if it is one of our limited edition or Christmas range! If you are interested in large quantities of any item, please order in advance. Will you be taking rush orders? It depends! If we are able to fulfil your order and send it out prior to the 7 days, then we certainly will, but unfortunately no guarantees. Please contact us directly if it is urgent. If we confirm that we are able to proceed with your rush order, it must then be placed through our website. Orders posted interstate will be sent Monday-Wednesday. Brisbane deliveries will be sent Monday-Friday. We do not deliver on the weekends. Our Christmas preorders for all products closes on December 18. Our custom orders close on 23 November. 11.01.2022 Monday morning tabling! This is dark chocolate that was combined from finishing a few different products, so we can keep our chocolate as allergen friendly as possible. There was orange, pistachio, hazelnut and almond contact (you can see a few flecks of pistachios in there), so these will all be combined into a delicious Baby Bar. It’s also a really great time for us to try out flavour combinations!

10.01.2022 Chocolate and hot weather are not the greatest of friends, but there are ways to keep your treats deliciously fresh. Simply wrap in cling wrap, place into a container or a ziplock bag and store in the fridge. When you’re ready to share them, leave them wrapped somewhere cool for about 30 minutes until the temperature evens out- this prevents condensation forming on the chocolates which will lead to sugar bloom. We also HIGHLY recommend bringing a cool bag with ice bricks inside when coming to collect your order.
