Not only does it mean 18,000 cars off the road everyday and a new underground train station at Woollongabba - the construction of this project is creating hundreds of jobs just when we need them most. And I have secured significant additional public parkland as part of this project as well as a community co-design process for the site. It's so exciting that no less than 50% of... the Woollongabba site is guaranteed as additional public parkland. We'll also provide affordable housing for key frontline workers, more social housing, and it will increase trade for our local small businesses along Stanley Street and surrounds as we keep rolling out Labor's economic recovery plan.
