14.01.2022 It is finals time! Last Sunday the Netherlands (pictured) needed to beat Italy to advance to the World Cup Final. A large crowd witnessed an absorbing contest. The 1-1 draw was just enough for Italy to qualify for the Final against Germany. On match day 2 Germany beat Italy 2-1 in what was one of the best games of the tournament. So another feast of football is in prospect when the World Cup Final kicks off on Sunday at the DISC, 281 Darebin Road, Thornbury 3070. In the w...attle division Canada came from behind to beat a very strong Uruguay 2-1 and book their place in the World Cup Final against Malaysia.
