21.01.2022 What shall we do to mark this global occasion? Anyone want to just hang out?

18.01.2022 Hey all, we need help, we had a shipping container near the Kalgoorlie CBD lined up to store things in but it just fell through. Does anyone know someone with safe storage space in town that Tim Ruben & Luke can use for a few months? Having it close helps when we go to use stuff in popup things. There’s also a few things here to give away, donate to or people can make an offer on stuff over the next few days

18.01.2022 Breaking news: The Ideas Hub @331 Hannan St is closing and going virtual! This old building has many great qualities, especially being central and set up as a workshop, oh and that glorious Edie Ulrich mural out front! However, we are unable to meet the requirements like disabled toilets etc to get it up to code to allow the public to come join us in this space. So tomorrow, Tuesday 6th Nov from 4pm to 8pm we will be having a closing down shed sale to offload IT equipment, s...helving, pallet stuff etc and there’s free stuff for other not-for-profits too. Although not being able to conduct proper activities & workshops etc here for the last three months while we’ve been in this limbo state we have had 100’s of conversations and countless meetings with local inventors, entrepreneurs, youth, regional and economic growth stakeholders, Premiers and politicians etc. We’ve also developed and expanded on epic youth engagement plans, digital strategies, tourism and attraction & retention ideas and supported local initiatives like Redcat TV’s Livestreaming Show, E13’s 152 Project, The Kalgoorlie-Boulder Minecrux Network and have value-added to many smaller creative projects and ideas. We've shared, collaborated, built relationships, grown as individuals and helped promote big out-of-the-box thinking, it's been quite a journey. We would like to thank everyone that has supported this effort from the beginning. Especially Perseverance Drilling, Goldrush Tours, Chris Fyson & The Professionals, We Love KB, E13, Goldmont Engineering, Artgold, AIME & Stephani Beck, ThriveWA, Original IT, The Community Garden, Meshpoints WA, SkySmart, Euphorium Creative, Mainroads, Outback Energy, North Kal Primary, Goldfields Game of Drones, Remdrone, PCYC, Bruce Harris, Mia Hicks, Penne Kozlowski, Monika Dvorakova, Matt Mason, Rob & Lochy Sterry, Kris Robilliard, Owen Hinton, Leuan Whelan, Pare Randall, Ange Leech, Gary Cooper, George Foulkes-Taylor, Shane Martin, Aidan Stevens, Nick Gooding, Con Wallace, Hannans North Tourist Mine, KCGM and everyone else who donated pallets etc (sorry if we’ve missed anybody but you know who you are and you’re awesome!) We will keep this page live but rename it sometime in the near future and we encourage you 'Like' it if you haven't already and to join up to our mailing list via the ‘sign up’ button to keep informed of any developments. Thanks again everyone and see you somewhere sometime soon!!

17.01.2022 Today we did 3 x 8 minute presentations at the AIME (Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience) Program Day at WASM showing a handful of our epic ideas and asking for feedback. This idea for Kalgoorlie was by far and away the most well received drawing many gasps, wows and woohoos. Value adding ideas the kids came up with is having fluro cave painting art and an underground ball-pit for flying foxers to land in. Can't wait to collaborate more with our young people...
