13.01.2022 Boarding animals at LVS I would just like to remind everyone that we do not have to take in boarding animals. We are a veterinary clinic. I think a lot of people forget that and for what ever reason think it’s their right to board their animals with us. We offer this service as there isn’t anything else out here. We offer this service so locals can go away, so tourists can see the sights and have their precious pets in safe hands. People get cranky when we can only offer h...ospital cages for their pets not big grassed runs while they’re out seeing the sights - we are a veterinary hospital. People get cranky when we say our hospital patients take priority over boarding animals - we are a veterinary hospital. People get cranky when we cannot take in anymore boarders - ‘oh but they’re only little and we will be back in 2 hours’ - we can only take in so many because we are saving those cages for surgery patients yet to arrive - we are a veterinary hospital. People get cranky when we say we aren’t taking boarders over the weekend - we like to give our staff the time off they deserve. What you don’t see is the endless hours spent at the clinic looking after patients and performing emergency surgeries all through the night, you guessed it - we are a veterinary hospital. We are currently in the process of re evaluating our situation on boarding animals at LVS, so if you want this amazing service to continue maybe instead of whinging say thank you. The team at LVS

12.01.2022 EDIT: These 2 are back with their owners. Special thanks to Rod from LRC for coming by this morning on his day off to search the council rego. Appreciate it. These 2 cuties were found roaming near Gin creek. The black and white collie has a microchip. I haven’t been able to get in contact with the owner though and the tan and white doesn’t have a microchip but has a council tag. Anyone recognise them? I’d love to get them out of the clinic this morning as we have a very full hospital today. 46583838
