25.01.2022 At Glenrosa we believe bulls should be prepared to easily adapt to all types of managment systems. That is why all our cattle are educated to well trained working dogs, horses & motorbikes. Bulls can be as easily managed on foot as they can on a horse. Raquel demontrates this during a recent check in the paddock with Glenrosa Weatherby P3 who will be available for purchase at the Rockhampton Brangus Society Sale on October 13.

25.01.2022 We come home to find the first calf of the season has arrived. A healthy little heifer by C.B Final Cut 924X out of Triple B Jane M212. Tough season for these first calf heifers.

24.01.2022 Annelise showed some hidden talent this week and got first place for stud judging in her age class at the Brangus Youth Camp. We're very proud of our little lady....

24.01.2022 Great result at the Rocky brangus sale overall. It was great to catch up this week with other vendors and buyers. Thankyou for the support Russell McIntosh for purchasing Glenrosa 388 and Bob Vaughn for purchasing Glenrosa Mr Typesetter N380. Hope they do a good job for you. We are also excited to add this outstanding new heifer to our breeding program. Bonox B1098 (p). Certainly and outstanding heifer by Charlevue Centre Time (P) with exceptional width, volume and muscling.

24.01.2022 Glenrosa Weatherby P3 (P) we be selling as Lot 205 at the Rockhampton Brangus Sale next Tuesday 13th of October. We think this bull has a lot to offer, that is why we used him as a yearling in our herd. He ticks many boxes: - Great temperament - Smooth coat & soft muscling - Good sheath design - Balanced length & Depth... - Great feet and legs - From our cow with excellent udder design He is well prepared to work having already been tested in dry conditions and bred on marginal coastal country. Be sure to check him out if you're looking for these qualities in your herd.

21.01.2022 Where does the time go. It feels like we just finshed weaning yesterday and here the claves come again. One of our first (bull) calves for the season. Sire: Punchagin Lancelot Dam: Alkoomie Miss Hollywood 820M3.

14.01.2022 Time for a look at a couple of this seasons calves. Here's a good young bull by Punchagin Lancelot and some heifers by C.B Final Cut, Suhns Final Cut and Singletary of Brinks. All very excited about the green grass. Even added a paddock pic. We must make the most of this time of year.....

14.01.2022 Glenrosa Weatherby P3. This 31 month old bull (Sire: Weona 2871 Dam: Glenrosa Lucy M243) was held back from sale as a back up for our sire's last season. He is a well balanced bull that could do no wrong in any type of herd. He is as sound as you will find structurally and homozygous Black . If your looking for a bull with correct feet and legs and temperament to boot. Be sure to check him out. Lot 205 at the Brangus Cattle Association Sale at Rockhampton on 13th October 2020.

14.01.2022 37mm of rain yesteray. Our biggest single fall in 14 months. These guys have just started to get the feeling of green feed after a couple of weeks of good showers. Dams are full and creeks are running for the first time in 14 months. Were looking forward to see these calves kick on now.....

14.01.2022 Lancelot coming out of the cows for mating season. Looking as good as he went in thanks to recent rain.

11.01.2022 These yearling heifers are definately enjoying the green grass this season. They should be in calf to Punchagin Lancelot. We're looking forward to another quality drop of calves by him from this season.

10.01.2022 First draft of weaning done. Very happy with this years calves. Some new genetics in this group with several AI sires along with impressive first calves from one of newest additions, Lazy S Aristocrat. Now school begins for this mob....

09.01.2022 Nice to bump into a young calf being born this morning. I think the Australian bloodlines in this calf are going to do well. Only just standing and already looking a likely prospect. Dam: Bullakeana Royal Cilla. Sire: Punchagin Lancelot.
