14.01.2022 Could your Business benefit from engaged staff? People grow your business. Keep them sharp and your business will prosper to the new levels. Neglect it, you are at risk. Ask yourself, are people important to your organisation?
12.01.2022 Opportunities for your business in the new GREEN economy. Even if you do not believe the science of climate change, recent extreme weather events and the announcement of a pending carbon tax has put the environment back into the public spotlight. This has huge implications for business but creates potential opportunities for innovative business leaders. The GREEN train is about to leave and you have three options: 1.Watch the train leave - with some of your customers on boa...rd or 2.Stand on the tracks and get run over or 3.Jump on board to find new opportunities and explore new markets This two hour workshop will explain current environmental issues and provide tips on how you can improve your bottom line in the new GREEN economy. Topics include: 1.The carbon issue explained We start with an explanation on the greenhouse effect and the role that carbon dioxide plays in man-made climate change. Future predictions on CO2 levels and worldwide strategies to reduce carbon emissions are discussed. The scientific view of climate change is presented in simple terms and the views of climate sceptics are also discussed. 2.The implications for business We then turn to the issues facing the business community. In particular we will look at expectations to minimise your carbon emissions from not only the Government but also from larger companies as they review their supply chain. We also discuss the risks in not going GREEN and the consequences of failing to meet customer and general public expectations. 3.Saving money and saving the planet Next we look at opportunities to reduce operating costs by implementing carbon reduction strategies. We explore case studies from organisations in Australia and overseas who have improved their bottom line whilst reducing their impact on the environment.4.Sales opportunities in the GREEN economy We will then turn to discussing sales opportunities for innovative companies in the new green economy with the introduction of environmentally responsible products and/or services. However we also raise the risk of being accused of Green washing.
11.01.2022 The biggest issue is; You Don’t Know What You Don’t Know. While there are proven solutions to your problems you may not know the right questions to ask to find them. Instead, business owners will often resort to guess work and band-aid solutions so they end up putting out the same fires over and over again. Does this cycle sound familiar to you?
