08.01.2022 We are now over half way into May, and that means June 30 is creeping up way too fast. Make sure you make any purchases before the years end to maximize your deductions. Pay your SGC liabilities before 30 June to also get a deduction this financial year. Every business is different, has different needs and objectives not to mention different cash flow levels. Always talk to your Tax Agent & Bookkeeper but be sure to do this well before the 30 June so if you need to implement any strategies, you can. Remember to also plan for any changes that you are aware of - For example, we know for sure that SG Contribution Minimums will increase to 9.5% on the 1st July. Incorporate this new rate into your forward planning projections.
