19.01.2022 Client of the Month for August 2020 is Rachel Martorana (Milperra)! Meet the Milperra gym superstar Rachel! One of the friendliest faces in the evening sessions and also consistent in attendance, and with that comes becoming so much more fitter and stronger! The ISO did nothing to stop her from falling off and she came back in full force non-stop, picking up and getting confident in skills. We are so proud of you Rachel, and hope you continue to inspire people around you. Eve...ryone at 365 loves you heaps, keep up the great work, champ! What do you enjoy most about coming to 365 Performance? We have FUN! It's so easy to commit to something when it's enjoyable and then you notice you're getting better at movements and becoming stronger. Great vibe, awesome coaches, cool people. Name some of your achievements since starting with 365 Performance? I put on our 2020 goal wall that I want to nail handstand holds, handstand push-ups and double unders this year. So far have the HS hold well under way, I have done a whopping two double unders all before iso and now need to relearn the skill. HSPU looks to be a carryover goal for '21 - doesn't hurt to be ambitious!! What are your favourite movies? Wolf of Wall Street. John Wick. Superbad. Anchorman. Anything with Robert De Niro - Goodfellas, Casino, and Taxi Driver comes to mind. OMG so many! What are your favourite foods? Definitely Mexican is up there - accompanied by a margarita!! However, I HATE coriander. Anything with chilli - it's got to be hot. Sometimes I just love eating a bowl of veggies. What is your favourite WOD or movement? Big fan of the Cali Bear. One clean and jerk every 30 seconds for 20 minutes - really helped me to focus on technique and become more confident with cleans and then getting it overhead. Now to work on increasing that weight for next time! Also, big fan of handstand holds - just too much fun really What is something that people may not know about you? Well, everyone knows I'm obsessed with my dog, so that's not new. Hmmm, maybe that I used to be in a heavy alt rock band (we're on an indefinite hiatus)

Meet one of the friendliest ladies in the early morning classes, she's so friendly she wouldn't harm anything in the world, and you can't help but want to be just like her! She's been working so hard and has been consistent with training, always coming in with a lovely smile and positive attitude! Its all the little stuff like these that all adds up to something hugely special! Great work, Nagham, kee...p bringing the smiles! What do you enjoy most about coming to 365 Performance? I enjoy most the friendliest team and people, the attention and care that I have been receiving. High quality service and support that I have been provided with since I started. Name some of your achievements since starting with 365 Performance? Since I started my fitness has improved a lot, I lost about 10 kilos of my weight so my clothes size went one to 2 sizes down. I became more active with my daily live activity. The back pain that I was having because of my work habits it’s just gone. I was able to get over the stress that resulting from working from home. What are your favourite movies? I watch a lot on the Netflix but there are just too many to name! What are your favourite foods? I used to eat everything and l loved all the junk food and sweets specially chocolate. But now I love Salmon, chicken, and salads. What is your favourite WOD or movement? I like all the movements, specifically the barbell lifting for me it’s a completely new skill that I learnt in 365 performance and I’m laughing when I remember when I first started. What is something that people may not know about you? People may not know that I love music and I have a nice voice so I sing all the times.

11.01.2022 Do you have an ALL OR NOTHING mindset?! Have you ever started a new training program or nutrition plan (or both) at 110% and at full speed?! BUT when you inevitably hit a road bump, you feel as if you’ve completely failed past the point of no return so end up throwing in the towel?... This could be as simple as slightly eating over your calorie allowance for the day so saying stuff it! And eating the whole block of chocolate because everything is ruined! And then you spiral and find yourself back to where you started and the cycle begins all over again.. This approach is NOT proactive Strive for progress over perfection- aiming to be as close to your plan on any given day will see a shift in your mindset and daily habits which will cascade into persistent and consistent PROGRESS. If you mess up one day, simply move on and aim to do the better the following day rather than throwing in the towel. There will be days that you mess up. There will be days that don’t go to plan. There will be days you won’t feel like training. That is okay!! Just refrain from slashing ALL your tires when only one needs to be fixed
